In only a year we went from only a handful of colors of PLA+ to much of the rainbow. I have + in all kinds of colors. Multiple blues, a couple great oranges, all the primaries, battleship grey(my favorite) hell I even have a kaki tan that I like a lot. I also have less trouble with the + over standard PLA, with the slightly higher bed temperatures I find it easier to get good first layer adhesion without any added treatments.

Are there any print settings that differ when printing PLA versus PLA+? (not including print temperature) If I am happy with my PLA prints will the quality and print be the same when switching? (Assuming 1.75MM)... Can I simply raise my temp through my extruder and print the same type of file? What exactly needs to change if I choose to make the switch?

Ender 3 (open source) using CURA to slice.

Hi Nick, it depends on the material and the brand you use, but in general PLA's and derivatives are printed practically the same way.

@@nickademis22 I strongly recommend Prusaslicer instead of Cura. I too was a Cura user but I rarely use it anymore these days. There are a lot of features in new release of the PrusaSlicer and the automated brush on support alone is a great reason to switch.
