YES. Thank you. I am so over youtubers who are "full time" uploading once a week. I work 30 hours a week with a two hour commute and put up 1-2. If they're chilling at home all the time, what could they possibly be doing that they can only post once?
some people like Mykie at glam and gore have really long prodution time and her videos are awesome but people who put up one video who don't have like a scripted intro or any sfx and normal simple looks then yeah I don't get it
Yes exactly! Like i can see if you have super fancy intros/editing and all of that, but when it's once a week for a video I know takes probably 3 hours all together to film and edit, I don't understand.
Mykie also does makeup and SFX looks outside of youtube.
I've never seen full time youtubers only post once a week, don't they get paid per video? Dunno why they would only post one per week if they are dependant on it to live 😂

That RUclips rant was spot on. I've been so upset at these "gurus" literally only using products they are sponsored by or have affiliate links for, NEVER mentioning sponsorships and uploading once every week or two. I've always thought about those full-time RUclipsrs and their uploading frequency and compared them to you when you were working full time and still getting 2 videos out every week. You're amazing and have consistently worked so hard for this. You deserve every good thing that comes to you and I wish you success in all of your career endeavors. :) Keep on preaching the truth girl.

Like how does someone have the privilege a huge following and approach it with such minimal effort?? If i was ever able to do YT full time I could upload more frequently like you have. I know you've busted your butt for years while working at the same time and I respect the heck out of you for that!

Omfg on the RUclipsr rant. It's ridiculous how a lot of "big" RUclipsrs get away with so much dishonesty and shadiness and end up with the largest following and the most money. And they'll promise you up and down on camera, snapchat, etc. that they're not lying but how believable can they be when they recommend products for a paycheck in return? Like when you got those Morphe brushes you were straight up honest and said that you mainly like the elite collection but the other brushes didn't really do it for you instead of sipping the Koolaid and promoting the hell out of them just bc they're Morphe who throw affiliate codes like confetti. A lot of consumers also don't realize how shhhiiiiiittty some of the products they pimp look in real life as opposed to on YT or Insta. It's easy to hide behind filters and editing to make a shitty product look way better than it really is. Sorry for my mini-rant but I would love to see your take on this. Much love ❤️
AND let's not get started on the whole "YT is my full time job & I start every video talking about how busy I am yet on snapchat I do nothing but bitch about being bored and film myself getting fast food". No thanks. There are even some RUclipsrs that only upload every two or three weeks bc they're too busy going on trips paid for by cosmetic brands to remember where they started. Again, sorry for mini ranting 😂

Some of the RUclipsrs I watch always start their videos talking about how busy they are, but they upload once a week and sometimes even less than that. They don't care how often they upload because they still get paid an unbelievable amount of money. I'm glad she said it in her vlog because that's been bugging me for a few years now lol

Because you have normal everyday consumers that subscribed to your channel because they liked your videos. Your VIDEOS. Not your snapchat. And if I get a 24/7 update on your snapchat detailing your every move, products you like, and life updates, why should I stay subscribed to your YT channel?........

I brought my husband to Seattle for the first time last year (I'm from Seattle) and he was blown away by the fact that there were people that lived there that weren't 21. He really thought that no older people lived there. Just hipster millennials😂
Only need ferries to cross the Puget Sound to get to Bainbridge or Bremerton (though you could drive a long way south just to go down and around to get there) or Vashon.* There are a toooon of bridges in and around Seattle, big and little. Lots of driving and lots of traffic! (Also downtown/central ish Seattle itself is super hilly, so not necessarily the most walkable for some people.)
*Well, there are other ferries in the state, but they are further north along the Sound. Like Anacortes and Whidbey and stuff.

I could not agree more with your rant. One of the reasons you're one of my favorite youtubers is because you actually have a job and live a life besides making videos. I feel like once youtubers get successful and do it for a living they stop uploading. Thanks for staying true to yourself and being an inspiration to working ladies.

One time I went to forever 21 and they had something marked as one price but overcharged me 1$..I know it was literally just 1$ but for a broke college girl like me, that's like 2 tacos at Jack in the box or 4 cup of noodles or 2 powerades, idk I was just irritated that they overcharged me after waiting in their long ass lines....& I went back to the same cashier I paid...& they they literally had to give me 1$ on store credit because there's no cash refund...WHEN THEY MESSED UP. I've hated it since... 😂

I can't wait to hear your rant on the RUclips world. I've been noticing lately that so many of the RUclipsrs that I started watching when they were a smaller channel, and are now Big RUclipsrs, just seem so different. I get the feeling that they aren't being honest in what they say. I've unsubscribed from many because it really saddens me to see people that I was once inspired by change and look into the camera and lie. How can they upload like one video a week, or even one video every other month, and be so successful? How can this be their full time job? How do they live in such luxury merely doing so little work? I do know that we don't see everything they do, just a small portion of their lives, but I'd love to know their secrets to being a full time RUclipsrs on these schedules. Please never change Taylor. You keep it so real, and we can see that. Your integrity, truthfulness, honesty, and strong work ethics shine through. Viewers are more intuitive than what many RUclipsrs realize. Their dishonesty will catch up with them one day. Love you bunches Taylor! Thanks for being you.

lol I just had a rant about this on twitter the other day! It's so annoying - like if I were to give such a lackluster effort in my full-time 40+ hr/wk job I would get cut so fast. Like I understand when YT isn't your full-time job that it can be difficult to put up content regularly or even do more than 1 video/wk, but omg like - it's literally their job!!!!!!

You have me missing Seattle. I'm originally from West Virginia, but I lived in Washington (Wenatchee), for 5 years. Both my kids were born there (my husband too). I LOVED Seattle. To this day, it's still one of my favorite cities.

I went into Forever 21 the other day and I swear their clothes have become very very cheap looking and feeling. It makes me automatically think of children working in a sweatshop for an unlivable wage so it can be sold for 15x the amount it is worth. The one over by me is TRASHED, the clearance section is so large and so messy I won't even go over there. I saw 8 people walk over and leave because it was so awful.
I bought 3 tank tops and I don't think I will be shopping there again, either. It is awful.

I've recently unsubscribed from a bunch of popular beauty channels because I stopped believing their bullshit. Kathleen is pretty much the only one I can still trust. Stephanie Nicole is a smaller youtuber but her channel is amazing and there are so many others who don't get the recognition they deserve!

I was watching this video and I can so relate to having migraine. I used to have 3/4 per week and when I wasn't having one I was spending the next day with a migraine hangover. I only stopped when I went through menopause. Oh, and, when docs put you on strange diets and tell you to meditate and pace and all that stuff, for me it was all about hormones. I can see you, iced chia - cold and sugar (coke is the best), junk food for the tummy, but no sunglasses! Man that light would be killing me. light and smells were the worst. I hope you find relief. I went on BC pills. It helped but I did get Breast Cancer from all the estrogen.

I love your vlogs, more please. I also DEFINITELY agree with what you are saying about how bizarre it is that some full time RUclipsrs are only able to get up one video every week or week and a half. If you're working full time it just makes sense that you would produce WAY more than that. I truly believe a lot of it is complacency. Someone that is a good example of a full time RUclipsr that takes it seriously is Shaaanxo. That girl works her tail off and because of it she has consistent good quality videos when she says she will have them. She holds her weight in the RUclips community as someone who represents what it means to do RUclips full time.

At four way intersections with no yield or stop signs, yield to vehicles already in the intersection or entering it in front of
you. Always yield to the car that arrived first. If you and another driver reach the intersection at the same time, yield if the car is on your right. Road safety is just as important as looking fly while filming a vlog.

Thats why i prefer to watch smaller youtubers/take their advice. I dont trust those bigger people because i never know if theyre being honest. They might be influenced or scared to talk bad about a companies product because then they wont be sponsored. i still watch their videos but i always take their recommendations with a grain of salt

RUclipsrs of my size are very frequently offered sponsorships, sent PR packages, etc. as well. I don't think there's ANYTHING wrong with partnering with brands IF you do sponsorships the right way- i.e. it's a product and brand you believe in, you give your honest thoughts, and you think it will be of value and interest to your viewers. The issue is when RUclipsrs (of any size) don't include an FTC disclosing that the video is sponsored in their description box. There are many ways to tell if a video is sponsored (especially if you work with brands and are aware of the typical requirements), besides including an FTC, so it's really easy to tell when someone is lying and there's a good chance the video is sponsored.
