    I'm a pediatric home health nurse. Thank you for sharing your story and the courage it takes to face a terminal diagnoses for a child. Palliative care is something many parents don't want to face but it's about love. Love enough to have his comfort and happiness as the standard for his care. It is such a difficult decision for parents to choose palliative care but it's not giving up. It's about loving and enjoying the time a child has on this earth.

    • @hanmaenen7337
      @hanmaenen7337 6 лет назад +26

      And even more: the treatment of children in hospitals was often brutal, like the Gestapo, medical treatment turned into outright torture. They were subjected to painful procedures like bone marrow aspirations and biopsies without any anesthetics, simply held down like beasts by some bitches who were misnamed nurses, and even yelled at and slapped in the face when they cried in pain. They were even operated on in that way, for instance the removal of tonsils or ingrown toenails. Things are much, much bettter today in this respect. This must never be allowed to come back!

    • @christinadehen4655
      @christinadehen4655 6 лет назад +22

      There is not an actual name for it because it is so rare. He has an X chromosome deletion in the PIGA gene. There are only about 24 known cases in the world as of right now. It is a genetic disorder that we did not know I was a carrier of. He is our only child. We did have other boys in the family with similar problems as Gabe but none of them were diagnosed. This is a new diagnosis found in the last 10 years. Only boys can have it and females are the carriers. Now that I am aware that I am a carrier I have decided not to have anymore children so that another child is not at risk.

    I guess that was a commercial for Car Dimensions. It didn't tell Gabes story. It didn't name the condition, or treatment etc.

    Although God doesn’t tell us in His Living Word, believers are convinced that God, being a loving JUST FAIR God, takes to heaven all those who don’t have the mental capability to understand God’s perfect plan for salvation. This couple will one day see their precious little blessing in heaven. They have that joy to look forward to.

    If it affects boys then it is carried by the mother on one of her X chromosomes.

    This beautiful baby looks just like my beautiful son Joshua! As women age they lose calcium...Ive seen this happen with an uncle of my ex's...his parents were old, as he was the last of 11 kids! I am now praying for baby Gabriel! The beautiful face, just like my sons...looking like, what are you people doing to me! This just broke my heart! I thank you and God for the love you have for Gabe...you haven't given up on him and my prayer is that he becomes perfectly healthy and no one gives up on him! Hes trusting in you, Christina and his loving father! Im trusting in my father, the Lord Jesus Christ for this wonderful child, as I just lost my grandbaby becuz his mother gave up on him! I also lost my wonderful step-dad all becuz he couldnt talk immeadiately after a stroke! Please dont ever give upon this baby, Christina! A gal I went to school with had had 7 miscarriages and couldnt have a baby and I suggested she take calcium and a short while later she walked in the school with the most beautiful newborn baby girl in her arms! I later read that calcium will cure miscarriage, a doctor had wrote about it! Well, it cured her instantly from the 7 miscarriages! Calcium has cured me from a horror I went through! Calcium is the miracle mineral and is short in over 80% of peoples diets they have said for years! Calcium is also the anecdote to almost every poison imaginable, according to Talbotts Medical Encyclopedia! It saved my son Josh from a drug overdose when he overdosed, and thank God I have him today! Psalm 103:3 The Lord, Jesus, that heals thee from ALL of thy diseases! Please, please get the doctors to give him liquid calcium, its called calcium gluconate and watch him get healthy!!! You can get it w/o prescription from any pharmacy! Medications eat calcium up, so it may take a little longer if hes on medications to build up a good, healthy amount of calcium! You can have them test his calcium levels, if u want. I promise you he will get healthy!!! I will be waiting to hear the good news and Lord willing I will be praying for this beautiful child! I love you Gabe! Please get back to me, dear Christina! Prayers for you and family! Love, Cindy Daniel! I dont know what kind of diet he gets, but a glass of milk has 1.3 million pus molecules in it so if he gets milk, the FDA recommends boiling milk for 20 mins to kill all germs! You could use evaporated milk its pre-sterilized and tastes great! God bless you and Gabriel!

      Apparently it is so rare that it doesn't have a name yet. It's caused by an abnormality in the so-called PIGA gene.

    One of Gabe's purposes is you sharing your faith in God and how people can make it through very tough times with Him at our side.

    God always answers your prayers but not necessarily the way you want.

      Oh please. Aren't all things supposed to be according to his will? Why pray at all then? There was no point to any of this. You're just making weak excuses for your personal faith.

    My heart goes out to you and your family and Gabe but honestly, you pray to god for a healthy baby, he doesn't give you one and you "still" go back to him for answers? Okay...

    These videos are so important. I’m not in this position, but I’ve been in many others where I turned to similar videos for information, connection, and comfort. Thank you for putting these together, and thank you to the families for participating. It’s not easy on its own and retelling it for selfless reasons is even more difficult. So sorry for your loss, thank you for comforting others.

    Thank you Lord for giving the world Gabe so that the Dr's can learn from him and so his parents can learn from him. Many prayers for Gabe and this family.
