Spawn is really a tragic IP because Macfarlane are obsessively protective of Spawn because it’s their own IP which sadly means we’ll never get a Mezco or SHF figure of Spawn which means until further notice we will continue to get the same type of “figures” I really don’t understand Macfarlane Their DC line is amazing but their own IP figures still suffer a lot of the problems from nearly 15 years ago. Yea and did u see that custom spawn someone made on instagram, is literally a mafex body style spawn, it looked soooooo cool and the dynamic poses and the cloth cape....THATS the spawn we want and need. Yea with so many imports mastering all the articulation points, it would be a dream to see them all get to produce a version of spawn
Yea I definitely prefer the articulated stuff more. If only we get more spawn figs and not just reissue of that same body with different colors. But yea lots of good dc stuff, I want all the classic ones
That's a really nice trick actually, I always end up destroying clamshell packing trying to get to the figure. The trick you showed in a previous video where you cut the bottom of the polythene in three places on the bottom of a slip cover made it look really neat too 😀👍
I like the hellspawn stuff just because its based on the ashley wood art. But the original release is WAY better! Basically old mcfarlane was great at paint and bad at action figures (they just made statues). Now they're ok at action figures and bad at paint 😂 Id honestly rather they broke away from making cheap toys and charge a bit more money and just be a more well rounded figure company with good articulation and good paint.
@@toys210 oh I never owned mcfarlane or any Spawn figures, but I bought a neca figure that came in a clampshell packaging. Never had any smell though, so this is new.
@@gregcervantes9268 yea most figures are fine, is just these 2 are so strong I had to mention it. The only other I can remember was the threezero Isaac Clarke fig, that one was the strongest I have encountered.

Yea I think this has to be the best way to preserve the clamshell unless you actually heat seal it lol. Would be cool if they do resealable ones too

Yea back then they did really good paint job too. Now just barely good enough for ppl to continue buying but nothing is amazing unfortunately.

Yea quite a bit....Definitely not as strong now but if you sniff the fig you can still smell it. Did u get this one too?
