Wow thank you so much! This semester we get to learn after effect and it's my favourite ever! I'm going ahead of my class and creating a harder animation So this is really helping!! Thank you so much ❤
Looks great, but this method only works when the limbs are simple line paths with strokes. If you keyframe the paths on a normal 2D layer with a fill (i.e. what you work with most of the time with character animation), it will look paper thin at the midpoint. Would have been helpful if you mentioned that at the beginning, I wasted a lot of time setting this up to find out it wouldn't work.
Maybe a dumb question, but when you spin a 2d drawing doesn't it look like a thing line when at the halfway point of the spin? Is this drawing different? or is the stroke doing something? or is that an illusion with the back and front legs spinning?
hey! it was super interesting but it was impossible to watch: there was an advertisement break every 3 minutes... talk to your sponsors and tell them that their add interrupting my mi video, only makes me hate their product.
I always wondered how to do this. Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for your great tutorials. In this tutorial, I'm really wondering how you got the 3d look out of a 2d design?
You can hit "enter" to quickly rename layers instead of right clicking each time

You can hit enter with the layer selected to rename it. I love your videos, but you spend wayyyy too much time in scroll down menus
