Too much inspiration in the parkour community it makes me so happy to be apart of it. Any future traceurs or current ones. I'm sure you are all great people with many backgrounds and if you're ever in Texas let's MOVE!
Yes! The parkour community has the most supportive, caring and helpful people I've met. Let's do it what part of Texas are you in? Do you have a story you would like to tell? We could help make that happen. Hit us up on our site or something.
NoAnchorTV I live in San Marcos , its a college town in between Austin and San Antonio. Our university is Texas State University. I'm a 16 yr old Traceur and have a brother in training. And a good friend who got me into movement if you're ever looking for me just find me on google plus or something. I'll be in touch. I'm still green but having to meet other people and move with is always a great experience. Peace, y'all keep inspiring people their are other kids who need something to look forward to I'm doing my best in my own highschool. Good luck! I think I do have a story as well.
im literally crying atm. i loved every second of the video! and this made me really thinking. i've been through hard times and one thing what always cheered me up was parkour and freerunning and i also do tricking
Parkour has done alot for this world. I am really happy about that! Thanks for the feedback. Feel free to share with a friend who might feel the same. Thank you.
this video was the reason I am becoming a traceur. everyone I've talked to that does parkour and free running are all so passionate about it and that say it puts you in a different world that's better than the one we live in so I want to be a part of that amazing community
Well thats a bummer, but if there really is no body you can start one! I have a buddy who started training by himself in a small town in Montana. Now he has a whole team and owns his own gym! The world is yours buddy. Let us know if you need any help.
Why do you guys gotta be so cool? You get the best of videos, the best of shots, and the best of footage. I gotta step it up. You guys are too cool! XD
My works arent on here for the time being, i want to be abel to release a vid at the start and end of the week so ive been upgrading equipment, but everything is coming back as soon as my replacement camera ships in.
Great video man, I love the fact you've found this and it's helped you come out strong from what sounds like a very tough and troubling time. The one thing which concerned me was that you mentioned your 16th birthday and the fact that your parents said you couldn't celebrate it because they wouldn't be around ... again ... from what you said, it sounds like they still don't take much interest in your life, or at least MAKE time for you. Obviously I don't know them personally or much about the situation beyond what you describe here, but I think they should be made to see and admit how badly they've mistreated and neglected you, and are apparently continuing to do so.. Anyway. Keep up the good work, and take care of yourself. thanks very much for sharing this with us ;-) G
you know, you simply cant make the blind see. so i dont bother them with it, they take me to my doctors appointments. thats all that matters these days hahah
ty man your video rly inpire me i dtart a way better life thanks for your video i loven it i start parkour i did this back flip and front flip just like this kid done it i whan thanks for your video
Looks like a nice kid! Well spoken too! Good vibes you put me in a good mind state/mood! I quite understand, my best friend just shot himself! Just trying to find good ways to stay in a good place mentally while alone. Thanks, keep at it! Have a nice day! :)
I started doing parlour when I was 5 I am 15 now and I have learned a lot of new stuff I tought my self how to land a fruntflip and I am now working in backflips
There's this wall at my school that I always do parkour on, and all my friends judge me for climbing up "weirdly" (they don't do parkour) but I don't care. I go to that wall whenever I can and have the best time.
Awesome story. Just curious, now 9n years longer, are you still training? There's a. brotherhood when it comes to these kind of passions, same with martial arts :)
Wow dude I want to do parkour now, I started skateboarding just this summer, I know a little kid that's only 6 that's far better at skating than I am he knows how to skate really good, we are fortunate enough to have a small skatepark in our small town. When I move to a city hopefully it will be a little cooler. I'm going to learn how to parkour even though I'm 17 and a little out of shape.
i started at 17, it took me 2 months to do backflip, back handspring, and aerial, after that i realized that bails arent that bad as the videos, it took me others two months to learn twists, b-twist, corkscrew, full twist, i have almost a year doing tricking, i can do combos and connect them with cool thinks like full twists, wraps (sometimes it hurts :S) im trying now double full, it feels so crazy, you should start right now, i meet a guy, 10 years old i think and he can do backflips, also never stop, i mean, if you learn backflip, nice, go celebrate with your friends, but most of the trickers think in the backflip as the easiest move
I am 16 years old, and I want to start Parkour. Like many of you, I struggle with finding people around me to train with me or just to be there with me so that I don't get down on myself for looking stupid, messing up, etc. I just don't know how to get over the initial hump of starting out where I am scared to try a trick or afraid of what others might think of me when I go out to train. Could some of you help me out?
I would recommend just starting. Eventually people will think it cool and join you. A good safe place to start are gymnastics gyms. Many have open gym night for a few hours for 10$. Most of us just started jumping around outside though. And if you are looking for some inspiration checkout our video "How we Built a Parkour Gym" These guys literally started from nothing ruclips.net/video/-g9xBbjOZv4/видео.html
NoAnchorTV Yeah I watched that video, I am really impressed and it really inspired me to start. Looking to build a Parkour community in Kansas City and beyond! Thanks for the help :)
I'm 13 years old and its OK to feel that way honestly do you really care of what like 5 people think that your bad?.... Think about it...... 5 out of 7,000,000,000 + people think about you who cares what they say! Life throws bricks on you its OK to just pick them up and throw it back were ever it came from what I mean by that is let's just say your YOU! you do not land a trick. There's about 3 people laughing at you so those people are bricks laughing at you and everything so the next day you try it again then you perfectly land it! So that means they aren't laughing anymore which means you threw them back to think twice! Don't be scared.... Stay AirBorn! ~Hayden (Owner of ABS)
HEY CAN U ALSO TEACH ME FLIPS AND OTHER TRICKS...I'VE BEEN PASSIONATE ABOUT PARKOUR FOR ALMOST 4 YEARS I HVE LEARNT SOME LEAPS WALLRUNS AND OTHER BASICS BUT I WANT TO PROGRESSS SO CAN U PLZZZ HELP ME OUT PLZZZZZZZ REPLYYYYYY!!!
Dude that was dope my child hood was a lot like yours and I started parkour when I was 10 and I'm 15 now and I'm pretty good your documentary was so inspiring and epic keep it real dude
+Ember yes i started officially started 2 years ago and it changed my life and outlook on life in so many ways just go for it like kacy said all you need is a good pair of shoes lol .
Wish we had a parkour group in St. Louis. It would be awesome to try it.. Where I live (Because i live a ways outside of St. Louis) its hard to find good parkour areas.. But i can't parkour anyways.. I tried.. But i don't know who to flip.. Im not strong.. Hell I'm even afraid of heights. Wish I could build up the courage to parkour.. I bet you feel so much freedom and power. A way to get away from the hatred around me.. but.. i can't. Im too stuck in my shell to put my head up and loosen up for once. I just can't take risks like parkour.. But I wish i could.. :( Like.. I go to do anything risky knowing i can do it but then i get there and i back out. If there was a parkour group where i lived it would be different. I could probably learn to parkour and loosen up for a change..
wow.what happened with youre cousin... it happened to me except it was my best friend. and even ur childhood was alot like mine. I feel the exact same you do
It is for sure! I started when I was 19 and I have a great time with it! There are a bunch of girls that do parkour! Alot of them are better than the guys, take Luci Romberg or Sheva for example. They go so hard. This is my favorite video with them SYUKAFLY - Freerunning in LA

its not about parkour, its about this kid finding his identity by belonging to a group. people of his age need that much more. that is all he feels he needs now, so be careful how you interpret his advice.

Great video man, I love the fact you've found this and it's helped you come out strong from what sounds like a very tough and troubling time. You need a fit body, time and environment to do these things.
Nah. You just need to be reasonably average to be a traceur. As for environment, anything that sticks out of the ground will do just fine.
name
I wish that i can learn parkour, but my parents... they prevent me from doing it...
+TEMPST XenoRage Do it anyway if it's what you love. Practice at school
0:25 that's free running but it's a sub genre of parkour so eh....
Why was he instutionalized?
Casey Jones Understood, because I swear if it was because he asked his mom for a pepsi,
(I know I shouldn't be joking about these things)
Casey Jones Did you get the reference I made?
Casey Jones Its a referemce to the song "Instutionalized" by Suicidal Tendencies.
Ninja turtles?!
Using my grandma's phone. I'm 10 started at 8
Casey jones the one in teenage mutant ninja turtles you famous???
he has my cousins dad .ame
its not about parkour, its about this kid finding his identity by belonging to a group. people of his age need that much more. that is all he feels he needs now, so be careful how you interpret his advice.
