Would be great but Kip reckons it was tough to get up for singing these songs for one night (the range required). So I doubt there'll be a tour ...........hopefully I'm wrong :o)
And to think I came across it in a closing music store in Casper, WY in 1998 reigniting years away from being a fan. Absolutely my favorite Winger album as well. I had their first two on cassette and had to get CDs after wearing them out in my Camaro. I still listen to Pull especially in the garage where I can crank the hell out of it!!
Is there a a more gracious rock musician than Kip Winger? He thanks all the people who make the show possible. And thanks the fans for supporting live music. One of my favorite bands and favorite live bands. Love you guys
And he is a very kind person too. All of them are, but Kip and Rod were especially kind to me when I met them after my daughter was killed in a motorcycle accident. Their show the year before was the last concert we went to together. They signed her VIP pass to her and her fiancé, who was killed with her, and spent a few moments comforting me because they knew my pain. Just fantastic humans they are. ❤️
Easily among The Best Performances Winger Ever Played in their entire career; having grown up with such classics as “Headed For a Heartbreak”, “Madeleine”, “Can’t Get Enough”, “Miles Away”, “Seventeen” & especially “Easy Come Easy Go”, no one could’ve guessed that the legendary late 1980s Rock/Metal band fronted by Arizona born Kip Winger could surprise their listeners with a decidedly Heavier, more serious album, which is exactly what “Pull” is about & this Excellent Performance captures it perfectly 🎭 💿 💔 ❤️🩹 BRAVO 🎉 🙌 👏
PULL entire set!? Cmon! Sounds great! Great job on Spell I'm Under!! Holy crap Kip you pulled off In My Veins! Junkyard Dog! 27:45 That's the first time Ive heard Lucky One live! That was Awesome! Bravo guys!
They did with us true metalheads. From the first time we heard the intro to Madalaine on the radio. Same goes for XYZ. A lot of us had some great conversations with both bands when they headlined at their own shows. Great guys, amazing musicians.
They are just perfect. No words can define this performance and the trajectory. How underrated these guys were I am so glad they were invited by progressive world!
Rod has been one of my favorite drummers since I heard him in the Dixie Dregs, decades ago. They are all technically proficient musicians and sound better than ever!!!
THANKS So Much for posting this! Winger is one of the most Insightful, Melodic Real Rock Bands that stand the test of all time. Thank You!! - Bill Cragg
Thank you for this video. Winger is the best hard rock band. I had an opportunity with my wife to see them on June 9 this year in Madrid, and it was awesome. We hope they come back next year and they play the Pull album set, it would be amazing.
I'm a fan of Brazil, thanks to the speaker of this channel for making this incredible show available, I put on high-powered headphones and felt like I was at the show! 🤘🏾🇧🇷
The 80's music scene was one of the greatest in 50 years. Nothing copares to it and none of the "music" today is remotely as good. All of the hair bands, metal bands, rock bands, etc... It was a phenomenal time to be young. Arcades, muic, movies, etc... The younger generation will know nothing of how awesome a time it was.
By far one of the best albums by one of the best bands from the some of the best days of rock. So glad they are still out there touring and cranking out great music. We should be so lucky. We need a Lynch Mob / Winger / Extreme triple bill arena tour complete with all hands on deck end of show jam session old school style. Just say the word, we're in.
While I appreciated Kips pipes, and Reb's guitar playing when Winger come on the scene, I was never a big fan. But when Pull came out, that changed. This was one of the best albums of the time, and their best, IMO. The Pull album just rocks. We saw a similar thing with Warrant, their Dog Eat Dog album was their best. It's a shame grunge killed rock, because with albums like these, and other bands like Extreme, the direction rock was going, was promising. Oh well, we'll never know what could've been. But still, what a good album, and well done guys, pulling it off. And props to Kip for his brother playing with him. - Sola Christos
There are a lot of great albums to go back and rediscover and a lot of the bands have been putting out great stuff for the last 3 decades like it never stopped. Plus some great new talent like Bloody Heels and Adam and the Metal Hawks to boot. If you haven't given Saints & Sinners, Sword Metalized & Live Hammersmith, Wildside Under The Influence, Crimson Glory, Armored Saint Delirious Nomad, Tattoo Rodeo, Tangier Stranded, Riverdogs first disc with Viv Campbell, Blue Murder with John Sykes, Gary Moore's stuff in the 80's & 90's, Brighton Rock, Victory, Pretty Maids (highly, highly recommended), everything Lynch Mob/George Lynch has touched, Don Dokkens UFTA supergroup, John Norum's solo stuff, everything live Whitesnake in the last 30 years, the Whitesnake Donnington show, Rush's Presto & Show of Hands, Guiffria, House Of Lords especially the first 3 albums, Bonfire, King's X, Billy Squier's entire catalog start to finish (like a soundtrack to life itself, pretty mindblowing), the Outfield has some great stuff we underappreciated at the time, Simple Minds was an amazing band we didn't fully realize their talent and range at the time, Duran Duran's Live In London show will make you rethink everything DD, especially the Taylors, Andy Taylor is one heck of a guitar player, The Cult Manor Sessions, the Hear N Aid sessions / We're Stars video, especially the solos, Yngwie Malmsteen's Trial By Fire - an amazing show especially the release with Spanish Castle Magic, Glenn Hughes, pretty much everything Night Ranger, the stuff Brad Gillis does on the 40 year concert with the Cleveland Youth Orchestra is insane, Damn Yankee's video for stuff like their peformance of Renegade, LA Guns Cocked And Loaded, Live discs from that era that were released in the last 10, 20 years, Steelheart, their live shows here on yt, MARS Project Driver, War & Peace with Jeff Pilson, Tony MacAlpine, pretty much everything Zebra, pretty much anything Craig Goldy played on, Rough Cutt, anything Paul Shortino has sang on, pretty much anything Honeymoon Suite - a band we REALLY overlooked at the time, the guitarist has serious chops, Alice Cooper's stuff throughout the 80s & 90s like Flush The Fashion, Constrictor, the Trashes The World live show, Pink Floyd's Delicate Sound Of Thunder performance, HSAS especially the full concert here on yt, Hardline's Double Eclipse highly, highly recommended, Mama's Boys debut album, Metal Church's The Dark, Testament's greatest hits, pretty much everything Accept, Doro & Warlock - Triumph & Agony especially highly, highly recommended, Youngblood, Charlotte Medusa Groove highly recommended, War Babies highly recommended, Radioactive Cats, again, very highly recommended. Hopefully put a few out there you haven't heard of or forgot about. Enjoy!
The amount of people in the front just sitting there recoring with their phones is sad IMO. Enjoy and live in the moment! That's what makes the memories!
This brought back so many great memories from the mid 90’s… this record, along with The Last Temptation (Alice Cooper), Waiting for the Punchline (Extreme), Bust a Nut (Tesla), Promised Land (Queensryche), Dysfunctional (Dokken) and Balance (Van Halen) were some of each band’s sonically best releases, even if not their commercial best sellers.
This is fantastic but all I can think about is a pro-shot HD release, even if only digital. This needs to be documented for all times, especially since it may never happen again. Even this exact show, with Rebs’s guitar issues during “Junkyard Dog” and all. So good.
Masterpeice i always felt this album was a bit progressive in its way just the fact that their playing at the prog !!!!! Its about time thier getting recongnized i always found winger where ahead of their time rigthing songs for the long term their music stood the hands of time one of the best bands out their still today
oddly...it would have been easier for the guy at the far right side of the stage to play the acoustic beginning of Blind Revolution Mad...instead of him playing bass, then switching to an acoustic.....kinda odd. Winger is a really good band...no backing tracks...as witnessed in Junkyard dog.....its great to see these sort of things happen live...
Just wondering who is the fella who stole rebs harmonica on the right there? I love when all the band is together but looks like somebody new too. Doesnt kip have a brother that plays maybe thats him? Ah....he just answered my question. What a great idea to play the whole album, i so wish i had been there to see this! One of the best albums i have ever played the heck out of in all its formats.
this band took way too much crap from emotional midgets. fantastic band and the funny thing is they are more skilled musicians than your favorite band.
Always have liked Winger. The video quality is great, the audio not so much. It us hard to get good quality audio on a cell phone. I would almost say it might turn some peopld away from becominv a Winger dan as it doesn't do thd band justice with poor audio quality. Maybe just keep thd video for your own personal viewing. Leavd the video's to the professionals. Nithing personal it is just really hard to get good audio.
apart from the lead singer i didn't notice too many of these boys opting the skinny jean look(a good thing do doubt)as for their playing? they don't sound like their rushing through their songs(which is a good thing as well)most live rock bands get nervous & exited & play way too fast
Winger are WAY MORE TALENTED than they are given credit for. Love these guys. 🤘
This setlist deserves a tour
Was thinking the same
Would be great but Kip reckons it was tough to get up for singing these songs for one night (the range required). So I doubt there'll be a tour ...........hopefully I'm wrong :o)
Absolutely! And Seventeen is no where to be found!
that would probably blow Kip's voice out
I am a Winger fan , but his voice sounds shot and looks like he can hardly move..
My favorite winger album !

Pull is a masterpiece. Well done.
Pull...Part of the soundtrack of my life. Period.
Amen to that!
Totally !
Never sounded better! Aged to perfection like a Single malt Whiskey!
And we be drinking the hell out of some of that winger wiskey
This band is amazing and a living proof of resilience.
Thank you for recording this full show for us that couldn't be there. What an amazing show and treat for everyone there.

Winger at their best!!
‘Pull’ is a killer album🙏👍
imho the BEST.

Never got the respect they deserve.
because they weren’t as good as the other bands at the time.
they were only good as an opening band.
