It’s impressive how Topaz became so polarizing with just one quest about Corpo exportation where it takes Otto 10+ chapters as well as killing 2 fan favorite characters and a whole manga to get to where she’s right now.

I mean Cocolia and the stellaron lock up the entire world from outside space and make other people think Jarilo is a dead planet so it make sense they didn't mention the debt in the main story and it's bring a great addition to Jarilo story because now people aware jarilo is not dead planet and people in belobog aware the existence of other living creature outside their planet
This contract is so absurdly unfair that I got a little angry when Topaz wanted to make it seem like it was the right choice to make just because her planet was lucky it worked.
Not only are the chances of success approximately 60%, even if the restoration of the planet ended up not working, everyone would still be forced to work for the company.
i was thinking it was fair too, until i heard the chance of it success and i nope out of there
Chances of success due to being personally led by Topaz was, to quote Himeko, above 80%. Above being the operative word. It could be anywhere from 81%~99%.
Evidently working for the company doesn’t restrict choices. Otherwise Topaz wouldn’t have gotten high up in the SID enough to get hand picked by Diamond, the leader of the Strategic Investment Division.

This is an omission of very important information that should be communicated in a fair negotiation.
@@Truck-kun11I agree, but she also should have mentioned the fact that almost zero planets have a chance of recovering from Stellarons to the point she calls the planets Doomed. An at best single digit chance vs her 81+ chance seems pretty plain to me. It’s just that Alisa Rand had a plan and Bronya is seeing it to fruition was what made them an exception.

Hands down the best quest Hoyo has made. I felt so much emotion and anger at Topaz and the IPC debt trapping entire planets. One day the IPC hubris is going to mess with the wrong planet and end up creating a galactic power in brutal opposition to them similar to the Helghast from Killzone.

Doubtful, even if I do want the greedy IPC to get burned for their practices. They are a massive corpo spread across the entire galaxy. Unless it is something on the level of an Aeon being born or an Emanator intervening, a singular planet is _never_ gonna amount to much before them.
Remember Xianzhou. Yukong directly mentions facing off a living planet as one of the things her planet ship has done across her military career. And the IPC is at worst on par with them as an organization commanding power. If something like the Helghast were to appear, at worst the IPC presence there gets beat, then their actual forces come and raze the planet so utterly to the ground, multiple rock strata would disappear from the record.

@@deltarunecharacterthe fact that the quest is able to make people *feel* emotion is far better than one that makes you feel nothing towards it, both negative and positive.
Topaz, an example of a decent person molded into being a Yae sayer for the man because of her past and job. Tho with what was shown, she has the highest success rate of saving worlds among her peers because she takes the effort to go beyond just the deal.

There are a few leaks pointing out to a future "Raiden Mei" on HSR, be it someone named Mei/Yayi (not to be confused with Ruan Mei), be it a extreme look-a-like called Acheron. And we have someone named Fu Hua being a high ranking general on the Xianzhou (if the timeline is somewhat correct, despite being another universe, Fu Hua is supposed to be Sushang's mentor right now). So that only leaves our lord and savior tuna Kiana. If they ever bring Kiana or Fu Hua to HSR, i'll become a whale fr.
@@futanahriadventures I think someone asked about Kiana appearing in HSR in an interview or something and the answer suggested she would likely be something of a scientist in this game so that's something to look forward to: brainy Kiana.

you can get several easy achievements 1 is go to that new paper guy buy the read able thing now you complete that story quest. 2 another is in outer snow plane teleport to lynx within that area you'll see the bear, and finally 3 you can go to the new area if you interact with everything get like 3 more achievements.

not gonna lie, that engine of creation part got me teared up when i played the quest, the sheer sign of hope is just beautiful!
I do hope that Himeko does accompany us in Penacony. She’s the only express member who hasn’t joined us for a full expedition and it would be nice to get to know her more and how she acts during missions.

They actually did a great job setting up the IPC for us thus far. We got a glimpse of what we were dealing with on the Loufu, we already didn't like their cocky attitudes then. Then here comes Topaz dropping the "Their futures have already been purchased." Had me absolutely fuming.

Pela indeed does follow the path of nihility alright but I love the amount of dialogue choices both funny and serious this might be the single best quest so far in terms of dialogue

Fun fact all of IPC names are based on stones Topaz , Aventurine , Diamond, Opal and obsidian, Im actually now wondering who else is in IPC and why diamond isn't the head of that organization because i thought that no one can be higher then the diamond if we talking about the position in real life
The gem codename thing is only for high directors of the strategic investment department run by diamond.
For example, head of marketing department is oswald. And normal employee who introduces you to honkai pokemon event has normal name.
We don't know who's the current ceo of ipc. Maybe the collective council of directors lead the corp without ceo.
One thing for sure is it's not qlipoth. Qlipoth isn't interested in corpo run by its followers so he's not the ceo
I actually dislike topaz at first because of her ways of doing things. Imo her and the ipc are more like a bunch of thugs than a corporate group (like how she immediately resorts to violence when the time of agreement ended) I also dislike how she's pushing bronya to make immediate decision w/o giving her time to ask for all belobogians' opinions. The ipc DID helped belobog in the past but it's only for personal profit and when they assume there's no more life on belobog, they just moved on.
The scene that I dislike the most is when bronya receive the latter from topaz about her sob story to justify her reasoning. And the fact it actually worked on bronya makes me want to scream I had to pause the quest. I also found it odd that one guy had to go over 15 interviews just to get hired while topaz and her people are immediately accepted in return for saving their planet.
I do like the ending tho. Even tho I dislike how bronya fall into the latter trap, her determination did helped us solve the problem peacefully. That also helped me to like topaz a bit more. So yeah, that's that. Good to play a quest that make me actually feels the story conveyed. Fun fact, we are the one that alerted the ipc about belobog's survival during one of the chat with an ipc member 😂

I really enjoyed this story, and enjoyed her character arc and excavation.
Hoyo's political stories are always so interesting and for me, (because i like to observe people) it can show in the end the kind of person some one is based on whether they enjoyed it or not, or liked the depth of characters presented. (Lot of times it shows people's age too, and it's always obvious who the younger and less experienced generations- which is totally fine. Its just ...interesting~~~😉
This is a story written by Chinese. It "may" refer to some real life situation both commercial and geopolitical. Topaz is making what she believes the best choices, but is it? Of course, it is a idealized game story. I can tell they put so many metaphors but don't want to go deeper.

The thing people forget is Topaz was only doing her job. If anything everything was already gonna happen behind the scenes, Topaz believes in the IPC whole heartedly b/c they are a positive force in her eyes. Besides we convinced her in the end and she’s the one who took the brunt of the IPC’s disappointment, not to mention she realized she shouldn’t have guilt tripped Bronya with her story. I’m also a husbando player and skipping Topaz, so don’t you dare try to come after me for at least liking her.
I agree that Topaz is a good person just doing her job, it just irritates me that she uses the history of her planet as proof that the contract is a good idea when she knows very well that the chances of success are only about 60% and that her people were very lucky that everything worked out.
But in the end, this whole situation of wanting to collect a debt from over 700 years ago was already ridiculous to begin with, so everyone is just trying to make the best of a bad situation.

As for the 700 year debt thing, I don't think it is as ridiculous if you take into account the sheer scale of the IPC. It is a thousands of years old enterprise, responsible for connecting countless planets with interastral space travel ever since Akavili's time according to lore. 700 years may seem long, but it is still a drop in the ocean on a galactic scale.
I do love her motivations. She is sorta on the means justify the methods part of her life. U3U

at first i did not care about topaz because of her design and everything, and the fact she was ipc, but now i truly can say that i don't like her in the slightest, she is a lying piece of work that only cares about this whole thing because she was the one assigned to it.

I never really liked Potaz. I also think her design is bad, and the whole "I like animals" thing does not make up for her horrid personality. This entire arc reeks of forced servitude- which is very not daijabou.
Exactly what I was saying for the last week or so. You wouldn't believe to what lengths people go to defend her horrible personality and predatory tactics just because she thicc and has a cute slave piggy. Then again, it's current year, so you probably would believe. Apparently people like being enslaved by evil megacorps nowadays, who would have thought...
Anyway, at least Hoyo made one character I definitely won't regret skipping, my bank account is threatening to divorce me at this point.

Topaz was Worst written. Loucha was more honest in his Portrayal. THAT'S the Problem.
The game was honest in Portraying and selling The Stellaron Hunters and Loucha. Loucha is already sus while Kafka. We can be rude and be negative to her and it still fits with being positive to her.
Topaz? She pulls shite like attacking the Astral Express and yet still maintains her Express Privileges to get on plus the game trys to Endear us to her.
She even has the gall in the Express as a visitor to call us "good friends"
