Thanks Tim. Excellent. I've got a GVC too but cover weddings using my humble mini 3 pro which allows for less restrictions. What I would love is for an optical zoom on the next mini 5 pro! 😅
I'd like the law changed so we can use the Air 3, which is a C1, in the A1 category. Which is what was meant to happen. Agh, let's hope we both get our wishes 🤣
Solid video. Concise and to the point. Just curious on if you use commercial software for your logging and paperwork? I’m currently just using templates in Excel but I liked the layout of your risk assessment.
Hi, good question. I only use 'AirData UAV' as this automatically logs all your flights, batteries and drone flights. Otherwise I just use a doc I tweak for each job. I print it and take it with me and keep it on file for any audits. There are some good and popular softwares if your extremely busy or running a team then that's an option.
Really good question. That will make a good video. But essentially time. But the rate is higher for the operation. So I split it into preproduction, production and post production. Pre production will include any specific authorisations the NSF. Also travel time.
Nicely done Tim! Not too many folks have covered Wedding drone shots, and the process of getting them. My one question is: were you free to strictly capture via drone, or were you also working handheld camera work? The aerial work was great, and this was a great venue for it (vs. Smaller venues or "in town" locations would have demanded more close in shots, and less sweeping broad shots. We'll done!
@SlipstreamCreativeAgency on something like the air 2s have u noticed when using POI mode and for example labeling a building, the drone will start orbiting the building but occasionally start coming closer or further away from the building?...
@dronetheworld4k67 True. I'm using just manual inputs now unless I want it to track me as part of quick b-roll. Otherwise it just isn't smooth and reliable.

@@SlipstreamCreativeAgency would love to see that video your content helps so much, definitely subbed 👍
A+ video and production! Working on my lessons for my license and hoping to get some small gigs after. Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks buddy, appreciate your comments. 🫡 safe flying

Hello matey, good to hear from you. Agreed, it's not often you get the space. We had 2 photographers and 2 other videographers.
@@SlipstreamCreativeAgencygreat video, very informative! Is it quiet common that there's at least one photographer/videographer aswell?
You bet. Especially Indian weddings.
excellent video !...
Glad you liked it! 🫡
