I like this boat, but a diesel engine is an internal combustion engine too.

is for a sports cruiser from Norway. Love the joystick sideways option and the backup security of the
bowthruster. Sooo important for a detailed tour and you totally nailed it! Antares 11 is perfect. Thanks.
I love the cabin cruisers. I love the small size and comfort offered. Now for my thoughts on why not offer “green” distance. Today with solar/wind and such a long roofline a 6 solar panels doing 800w each produces 48kwh and may do 5-8kn as long as the sun shines. No fossil fuels! Maintenance free relatively speaking! Batteries acts as the ballast! I asked this of saxdor too, but who will finally wake up to this? It becomes the third category of cabin cruising: wind, fuel, and sun. I don’t know if i could afford it (if it’s under $250k), but it’s really interesting.

Can the mercury joystick control the bow thruster as well? Why the separate bow thruster? Do the engines not have quiet enough authority or is it backup? Thanks! Great video

Engines are classified into two types, internal combustion engines and external combustion engines. In the first, the combustion of fuel takes place inside the cylinder, whereas in the second it takes place outside. Both the gasoline and diesel fueled engines on this boat are "internal combustion"...
Diesel gererators are preferable here because gasoline's low flashpoint and high vapor density makes it highly volatile. The fumes are capable of ignition up to12 feet away from a pooled source.
