I was a baby when I got baptized so I don't remember it.
Same I don’t remember my baptism I also got baptized as a baby my parents chose for me in baptism,but I went to receive first communion and Confirmation I chose for myself in confirmation

Oh I was 9 years old when I made my first communion and in 3rd grade and got confirmed a week and a half after I graduated high school. My confirmation was almost 4 months ago so my confirmation was pretty recent

I love that you teach your children about Faith in Jesus Christ, His Heavenly Father and the Holy Ghost. Even though there are slight differences in what we believe you are teaching and passing on to your children LIFE. It's even more important than the good nutrition they have every day. I got baptized on August 6th and it was one of the best days of my life. I got to show everyone that I am a follower of christ and that God washed my sins away. I also got to show jesus my faith for him.✝️ I am so happy that Beckham made that decision. Have a blessed day🌻💗

@@amelialeahh Hi I’m so glad you asked. There is no specific age that you have to be baptized at. I believe that you should only get baptized when you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior and have full understanding of what being baptized is. Thanks for asking!✝️

Even though I’m not Christian and was born in a Buddhist family, I still want to congratulate Beckham for getting baptized! A lot of my Christian friends and family got baptized, and they said that it was a really special moment between them and Jesus!🎉❤😊❤ 🎉

As I am sitting in my office watching your Baptism Beckham, I couldn't control the tears. I feel the spirit and it is so special. Beckham Heavenly father and Jesus Christ loves you and are so proud of the choice you made to be baptized. Please know that they love you and want you to get all the blessing and happiness with your family in this life and they also want you to always remember your promises to them as you keep the commandments. I’m so happy that Beckham could have the experience of getting baptized, I got baptized in November a few years back, and it was the best decision of my life. I feel the Holy Ghost with me everyday helping me and making my life better. I hope Beckham can have the same experience❤Congratulations

I remember my baptism! I got baptized by my grandpa. I felt the Holy Ghost immediately! I remember being so excited when I got my scriptures and being so excited to read them. How exciting it is to be baptized into this church. So happy he could experience this wonderful moment. I could feel his excitement through the screen. It is good to be born into a family of this religion so you can start young.💜💜💜

no wonder why nelsons are blessed because they put god in the center , i was also once lost because i don't understand what was going on and even ask god why it happens to me , but then i find a way back to him and try to understand that maybe it happens so i can be stronger and if its not for me he will not give it to me because he has better plans, i go to church every sunday and we hand a group in our little chapel and i became one of the leaders ,i know god plan for something and i'll be waiting patiently , now i'm doing better than before because i find my way back to him, i just have to believe in him , god bless you.

I left the church a long time ago (I was 16) and this was so very interesting to me! I left the church because I couldn’t live with myself knowing that I wasn’t a “perfect Christian”. I felt like a fraud listening to the pastors and knowing that I still sinned. I remember deciding in my mind that I couldn’t be a Christian anymore. So I left.
After hearing this though I feel like maybe I was so wrong. Maybe I wasn’t too much of a sinner. This has really made me think.

A pastor once described to me that my baptism was "an outward demonstration of inward choice". He wanted to emphasize to me that the act of baptism itself was only symbolic and it was my choice to accept Jesus into my heart that mattered. The picture of baptism was meant (for Baptists) to demonstrate the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and emphasize that we were "dying to our old ways, burying our sins, and emerging a new person with Christ". I always liked that explanation and that's how I explained it to my nieces when they asked. The main difference that set Baptists apart was the fact that we believed in complete submersion to complete the picture, not just sprinkling water. But it's the inward choice that matters most.
