An excel sheet with all your grocery items on it with a stock and used section for each cupboard would really help ! I work as a bartender and this keeps us on track for rotation and what's used more often then not! Having one for each cupboard and having your kids check off what they used would help each month looking quicker at what you have to restock :)

On the inside of each cabinet put on list on what each cabinet has in it, when you are out write down on this each what you need and that will be your pre list for next time you have to go buy gro and your list is already made with no worries and you can make a mine copy on your computer and just print a new list again tape up or tack up to start a new list for next time .. really great time saver. If shop 6 months do a list of how many items you have and write down and see how many you used and what you don’t use a lot in 6 months you can change how you shop and you know you do t need to buy that many again this time, saves money.
So satisfying! As a mama to 11, I can only smile; seeing all the organized food and pantries it's the best! I read you can also spray vinegar in your cabinets to help with the weevils🫶

Maybe it is an idea to hang a white board or something like that on the door. That way if someone takes the last package of something they can write it on There and you know you have to buy a new one. (Sorry if my english is bad😅❤️)
the bullweavel is already in your product. back in the day when home eco was taught we were taught to put flour ect in freezer minn24 hrs to k8ll the large eggs ect I I store 20 lbs of flour in my cheadt freezer n 20 of sugar too but I place the 10lb bag if sugar in gal zip lock to keep out moisture n when I buy the 25 lb bags of flour n sugar I store in airtight containers in frezzer n pull out as needed n I store my pasta in freezer til needed then fill up my storage containers same with bisquick. I nve buy boxed foods but hubby like karat Mac n chs every so often ( yuck) I store in freezer few days then put in pantry no issues. I did get some n did not put in freezer n had bullwevels but it was in pantry l8je 5 months 2 boxes
Rice can defiantly get weavals. That is how my cupboards got infested. Unfortunatly I have a small kitchen and it was in all my cupboards. In rice, flour, cereal. Tupperware is good to store them in as the weavels cannot get through it. :)

Put your flour/ flour based mixes/oatmeals and pastas in the freezer for a minimum of 2/3 days because the weevil eggs are IN the flour/oatmeals already. Freezing kills the weevil's eggs. No bay leaves necessary.
