Very nice. I am another helmet fanatic. For recent 6500 mile coast to coast USA and back trip I bought a Shark Evo ES. Also same huge size, also heavy (weight is minor issue for me although I like a light helmet)...I like the flipped chin being out the way like the LS2, for slower traffic in hot weather and for taking a drink from a Camelback. I did find the Shark a bit noisy though, especially into a headwind, but other than that I give it 7/10. Maybe this LS2 is quieter.
Thanks v. much! I find the L size helmets OK, but I try the helmets on first during bike shows, shops, etc. before ordering the final size online. In case of this LS2 the XL is OK for me, the L was slightly too tight. The range of my helmets are from M to XL.
Thanks for your review. How is the noise level? I currently have Airoh Matryx and find it to be loud. I've also have the Schuberth C5. With the exception of it's defects, the C5 was fairly quiet
I think the idea of most of those helmets that the chin part goes all the way to the back its great. But the execution is bad. On all of them, the helmets are way too big, wide and heavy and you look like you are wearing a helmet 2 sizes too big.
Please don't "ride" the helmet, it won't go well. It lakes basic "riding" capabilities like wheels, and controls.. Perhaps instead try "riding while wearing it.."

OMG
Excellent review, Thanks. how do you find it for sizing compared to other brands? are you an XL in other helmets? Thanks

Must get it
I have the LS2 Valiant and the LS2 Horizon. The Valiant is noisier than the Horizon, curious as to how quiet the Advant is.

the closed strap catches on the jacket collar and opens by itself, has anyone had similar problems???
