The tall dude should have been discualified for the amount of times he used elbows to the back of the head and plus how many times he grabbed the cage to stop a take down, little dude should have one in my opinion.
I rewatched after reading you comment I don't see any rabbit strikes to the back of the head in the down direction. Tall guy is trying to elbow side of head, sometimes he hits close to the back but with diagonal direction not straight down. It is very clear he is trying to avoid the back of the head even though short guy makes use of this rule (consciously or not), short guys head is often easy to elbow but he is nearly only showing the back... I'm just saying I think tall guy did an effort to fight fair w.r.t. Opponent health. Holding the cage to stop takedowns is a shame though

Rothana should have lost the fight for cheating, he repeatedly held on to the ring and repeatedly elbowed the short guy behind his head, the referee should have taken points from him, or disqualified him, it doesn't only hurt to hit behind the Head, but it will exhaust you.
I was sweating throughout this video. Most entertaining fight i ever watched. Both fighters have such good heart and physical fitness. I was rooting for the short guy. Despite his reach disadvantage he made up for that with his heart, fitness and power. I thought he should have won.

The judges definitely favored taller dude.. i cant stand wen judges do that.. lil dude won that fight for sure. As a matter of fact lil dude should had won by unanimous decision considering taller dude should have points taken away for all the elbows behind head and fence grabbing. Also them takedowns/slams count ALOT. And it was an obvious win for lil guy at that. But gave taller dude the unanimous decision win lol. If they were going the favoritism route then it should had been at best a split decision win. At the end of the day the only good thing about the world we live in today is at least everything is recorded and online. So wen these type of losses happen at least everyone knows wat really happened and winner doesnt sleep well at night cuz of it lol... cuz deep down they know whom truly won especially with the public being able to watch it all over the internet
No matter what part of the world you are in, there is going to be racial biases. It happens quite a bit in combat sports. If it goes to decision, the foreigner will take the L.
I'm short myself but as I see the fight. The short guy is running out of dexterity. He let his head get expose and many different times. That is the most important part of the body. The tall guy is keep pounding and pounding away but the shorter guy doesn't know when to give up. The short guy is like Captain America getting beat up by larger foe. This doesn't mean every fight that he will lose every times but win in admiration of trying to stay in the fight. I think the winner is still the larger foe. Size does matter. There is limitations of a person's ability. Ex. Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant. Hulk lost and no one dare fight against Andre. If there are 5-10 guys vs a master martial artist, my bet goes to those 5-10 guys every time. It's a real street fighting vs make believe movie stunt. Go look at the history of Bruce Lee. Why did he come to US? It's not because he is a great martial artist. It's because he messed with the Triad in HK. His master Yip Man and his mother beg them not to hurt him.
Full respect. When you gotta punch up to that extent the whole fight, head kicks unavailable and spinning back fist hits the kidneys of your opponent, it takes a huge drive to put on this kind of effort and show.

The short guy won, d number of takedowns is too many, besides he was also landing, and dictating the pace of the fight, he took the fight to the tall guy, the little dude scored six take downs and two knockdowns,
I thought the same. They gave it to the other guy because shorty got wobbled early, but he actually scored two knockdowns of his own and countless takedowns and control time. Nice slams too, he took advantage of his advantages like getting low and being strong as fuck.
Didn't watch the fight, didn't know the fighters but this highlight's end felt tragic somewhat. It was probably good judgment but I was rooting for the short guy from the moment I saw him eat all those blows and still stay in the fight to give the opponent hell.

Didn't watch the fight, didn't know the fighters but this highlight's end felt tragic somewhat.
It was probably good judgment but I was rooting for the short guy from the moment I saw him eat all those blows and still stay in the fight to give the opponent hell.
