I’ve been wanting to organize my valley a bit more because it’s a mess and clicked on this for inspiration and I am blown away by what you’ve done with yours. Annoyingly, I have the game on switch so stuff like this is much harder to accomplished with the controls I have.
I started on Switch and just progressed my story, unlocked characters and biomes etc. I just recently bought the base version for PC so I can jump on there to decorate once I get to where I want to be. I have a ways to go though. But I’m so grateful for the cloud saving option that I can do that, and the base version of the game being cheap. I like to play handheld in bed but it’s so true that decorating on switch is impossible. I’m just gonna let it be a mess until I get through the story and unlock everyone.
This was truly the most helpful walkthrough of how to decorate. I’ve felt so stuck and overwhelmed but this really broke it down so well. Thank you so much!

I had almost stopped playing entirely but this has renewed my desire to play because I want to decorate now, before I had no desire to do that at all and really just disliked my entire valley. I'm not a creative person and I never thought I'd be able to accomplish builds like yours but this has given me confidence to try it. This was so well put together and broken down, thank you so much. I'm a teacher so I usually play this on our holiday breaks and even though I haven't unlocked all the characters, I really want to decorate and work on the layout of my valley! This video has given me so many great tips so thank you a ton for being so thorough. What I love to see (as a teacher haha) is watching people work through things and talk through their thought process because it's such a nice insight to what we all probably go through when planning things out.

Two quick questions: 1) do you recommend removing everything in the biome before decorating it? (Trees, rocks, etc) 2) how do you get more pathways. I finally started moving some houses around and am very sparse on pathways. I’ve been playing for a while now but just started redecorating and really needed some tips and this video helped. Thanks!

Do you play on Switch and PC? I absolutely love this! Also did not know you can take out items as multiple. I was doing tress by one you took out a bunch of rocks at the same time to build that pathway was amazing 👌🥰

where do you get the trash cans and those cute little grates that you put in the road? I’ve been looking for a little accessories to make my town seem more realistic, but can’t find anything.
It's a life / social sim where you build up a valley where you and Disney characters from all different movies live. You fish, garden, craft things, decorate, etc. It's on PC, Xbox, Playstation and Switch!
hey just saw your video! did u spend any real money for all this? Did u buy moonstoones or other stuff from the shop? And how did u generated all the iron for fences and stuff? I‘m struggeling so much making 30 iron bars for minnies clock 😵💫😵💫
I have spent money on moonstones in the game - the palace house skin shown here for example is something I used moonstones on. And for the iron, it's just lots and lots of time grinding
We have a similar approach to design. For me, paths come first, then theming--which includes a heavy emphasis on color. I just posted a new vid with my plaza rebuild, and it really came out lovely using a lot of these strategies. I even mentioned you, even though I butchered your name. :( Would love for you to check it out!

I use the d pad for paths it’s so much easier than using analog
The creator of this video plays on the switch. If they can do all this so can you. Don’t give up on decorating you can use the D pad or touch controls

The switch is so tough.. 😩 it’s a never ending battle with the controls. But i do try to make it look some what decent looking 😅

Yeah! Any trees, bushes, paths, rocks etc. can be moved or removed
