I’m old enough to remember Jake’s father as a TV/movie star. I read his mother’s memoir many years ago, and recall the despair I felt about this family, torn apart by disease. I happened to see Fiddler on the Roof on Broadway recently, and remembered Jake’s dad’s association with it. So I looked him up to find out how things were going. It’s gratifying to see Jake living a healthy life and working to support his mother’s foundation.
