@@jayy24195 tbh it doesn’t feel horrible, it’s just risky. It’s just very windy depending on the bikes wind protection but a lot of them actually feel pretty good at high speeds 🤣 I’ve only ever done about 105 on a supermoto which is a dirtbike with street tires on it, which is not made for high speeds at all and it actually doesn’t feel too bad, it’s just the wind so you can’t really sit on high speeds for a long time. But sport bikes on the other hand do a good job at protecting the rider from the wind and you can go way faster way too comfortably 😂
124mph is enough speed imo. where i live 70 is the max you can legally go on the roads. idk why anyone would wanna go faster tbh. i feel going 85 to 100 in a car is pushin it lol so i on a bike im sure its a insane feeling. i want one
majority of people who ride are addicted to speed/adrenaline or they want to improve their cornering and technique etc. when you're comfortable going 100, and you are trying to improve your riding abilities or feel excited, then you'd be thinking about going 125, then 150 then 180, then if you're still here, you'll be wanting to eventually hit 200mph. it's the reason people buy bikes, the feeling is insane and when youre comfortable and have a passion for if, it explains why 125mph isn't enough for some
I have a Kawasaki Ninja 500se bike. I've only driven 600km. I tried topspeed during break-in and reached 198km/h even though the weather was windy. I think it can accelerate to 210km/h when the oil and air filter are changed after running-in. The bike I have is only 47 horsepower and 33 torque, the European version.
124mph all stock ecu flash full race exhaust valocity stacks high flow air filter and a propper tune mabey 135mph to 138mph. Has room for potental for track use even more than the 400.
Getting my "first" bike within a year debating on 500 or the 650 Road on dirt bikes and such and i have an 02 harley 883 ive rode on gravel for all together maybe an hour, comfortable with that but not the weight of the 883. 550 lbs is way different than ±400 or 370 lbs Any recommendations on which or pointers to start? Or should i get somethign smaller all together.
Yeah i kinda undertand now why people over here tell me i dont need a bigger bike. 118mph is like 180 kmh i think. and in my country 120kmh is max allowed speed. and that is on the highway only at evenings times. this bike is just perfect. still no fan of the 2cilinder engine sound but hopefully i will get used to that.
That first runs shifting was terrible. Bro bring it to red then shift, thats how you really top it out. You got to teach your bro how to shift lol. Good stuff though, think this sealed the deal on me buying one.
fuel economy, weight, comfort are a few reasons why there's multiple bikes that do the same top speed. plus people buy them, so Kawasaki will keep making them
@@VirgilHawkinsIs pretty sure Kawasaki would still be producing bikes even if no one was buying them lol. they're a big enough company that ninja 500 sales probably don't make it into their top 10 things to worry about
kawasaki says they didnt do that because it saves weight and isnt really in their vision for the bike as its a 5-6k cheap beginner bike. Its in their press conference, also daily rider talks about it
update: was able to hit 124mph after the break in period & first oil change
I got 127 outta mine
looks like i gotta try again now😭
how much do yall weigh
@@stevenmcdonough1 height/weight make a big difference so that could be why you went 127.
Nope. 124 is too speed. That's what it is.
That's all the top speed you will ever need on a bike, hoping to get this same bike in a few months.
good luck with it! it’s a great bike
@@MalachiJetter i seen the old ninja 400 hit about 121, this one after break in, and a muffler should be much faster
“I’m shaking guys look”
Immediately stops shaking after he says that…
😨 you caught me 😭
People sleep on the smaller sport bikes honestly 118 is as fast as you really need 😂
facts💯😂
imo going like 90 in a CAR is pushin it. so on a bike its probably a really crazy feeling

speeding is reckless endangerment, i do not recommend it to anyone. that being said, the highway is a public racetrack

i recommend the 500, i don’t think the 650 is worth what it costs. and since you have experience on dirt bikes you should be more than fine on the 500
650 the 500 is boring
homie shaking got me weak
Short shifting that is painful. Hang on to the gears

I was just finna say he shifting it too early that’s why it’s taking so long to get up to speed 💯

The 400, 500, and 650 all top out around the same speed. I don't understand why they even bother to have all 3.
