I am Korean and I will tell you more accurate information.
There are no people in Myeongdong and Euljiro at night. You can spend the evening with delicious food and good drinks.
Hongdae: The area near Gwangdong Pocha is the hottest place.
There are many foreigners, Koreans, and various types of clubs and pubs. Highly recommended.
Itaewon: There are a lot of people dancing on the streets and it feels like a tourist street at a resort. There are more handsome and pretty people than in Hongdae. However, there are no people on weekdays and only go on weekends.
Gangnam Station: Not recommended for foreigners. Recommended only for those who want to know about Korean nightlife
Rodeo: Likewise, it is the Gangnam area and has many of the richest, prettiest, and most handsome people. Not generally recommended, but only recommended to those who want to experience Korean nightlife. Focused on lounges, small nightclubs, and bars
Euljiro-3-ga is one of the hottest places in town these days.

Gangnam still has some good places and some of the best clubs but they hardly let foreigners in without a table or connections so i think its good to skip them in your video as that could lead to viewers having a bad experience

But yeah both hardly let foreigners in unless you buy table or know people, best bet would be to go weekday as they stay open until 9 or even 11 am, and get in early (most chance) get braclet and just go out to party and come back later when it gets busy so around 2am.
If you are still in Seoul or will visit soon, i really reccomend "Bulldogs" bar in gangnam (its a small pub but feels super local and they got some very cool shots with opportunity to put your photo on the wall) and very good Prices.
Also in Iteawon there is a decent club in same building as Prost/glam upstairs that is free enterance so its worth checking out.

You'd be fine in the regular bars, only in upscale places dress up a bit.

Spent a lot of time here. First time in hongdae there were no foreigner there. Buddy of mine was the resident DJ at Eden in Gangnam near Octagon. At that time, the top club. Was there all the time, so many good memories and sick music.

I was just here last week on my vacation to Seoul. I just wanted to add its not nicr to go alone because I solo traveled, if you go to Itaewon you definitely need a friend or girlfriend with you.
I went to itaewon alone and had a blast, which places did you go to? Otherwise you could have joined the pub crawl to mingle easier

It depends. Hongdae is mainly for university students. Itaewon has more mature venues.
most of the places mentioned is where poor foreigners hang out. you glanced over a few places like prost (with glam above it), which is actually much nicer. so it's not really a seoul nightlife destination guide, it's a guide to seoul nightlife if you wanted to be in south east asia but found yourself in seoul.
You should have included the places where people with tattoos won’t get in because we all know what the South Korean attitude is towards foreigners with tattoos.
