And with the separating globe! I've never before seen video of a Russian motorcycle-globe act, but somewhere before saw an illustrated book on Russian circus which showed a separating globe - in the 1950s or 1960s. Though motorcycle-globe acts are many, they don't get more exciting than this one.
This is very risky and very dangerous act in circus.I like motor cycle driving.

In the early '90's the Moscow Circus came to Hong Kong, where I was living, so I got to see it twice. Both times I had front row seats and was perfectly placed to watch an acrobat fly by my head and slam into a pillar. Her body went lifeless and she fell into the shadows, tethered by ropes, swinging upside down two meters from where I was sitting. I watched her for about ten minutes and then pointed her out to the person sitting next to me. We didn't know if she was dead or just unconscious. After about thirty minutes some assistants pulled her down and carried her away on a canvas stretcher while the show continued on without her. The most memorable moment of the night was, of course, the polar bears ice-skating on their hind legs - they were so white!

I saw similar act performed by the Japanese circus at Cebu Coliseum way back late 1970s and it was more dangerous as two people with no protection like helmets stand inside the sphere while two motorbikes driven by
.one male and one female swirl inside the globe.Had a collission occurred those two men standing motionless would be surely the receiving end of mungled machine chunks,,and bodies,,which is why that particular stunt was named The Sphere of Death..it's just unfortunate videocams were not yet flooding the public otherwise many could have their own record of the act.The entire circus aside from that Sphere costs five Philippine pesos,,quite expensive in late 1970s
