Well he is guilty even if he involuntarily cocked the hammer and it murdered someone he was the last one to hold the weapon it was his responsibility ultimately in the end to ensure it's good through a 2nd or 3rd source. He may not be in prison in the physical but everyday it will be in the back of his mind. Goes to show money talks.
