      Check your nostrils next time you feel this. Is one nostril dominant? This can be a play of the gunas. If the right nostril is dominant you will feel rajasic. If the left nostril is dominant you will feel tamasic. If both nostrils are flowing evenly you will feel sattwic.

      These are energy imbalances manifesting themselves. Distance your self from the body/mind and perceive from the perspective of the silence witness within. Ask your higher Self what the cause behind this imbalance is and you will find the answer. The sadguru is within. Om

    After the alternate nostril countdown when you say stop counting and get into visualising OM, is the breathing still to be alternate nostrils or is it to be normal? This thought just ate into me and I lost all concentration and actually stopped.
    Also in all the yoga nidras my breathing is usually very soft, but occasionally I involuntarily take a deep breath. Is that ok or should I consciously not do it?
    Your sessions are just amazing, thank you so much!! God bless you!!

    Thank you so much. A deeply satisfying experience of deep awareness of the inner space. This does much to take me beyond the mind, beginning of a reakizatupion of awareness that lies beyond just the thoughts by being able to watch the thoughts as they arise and pass. I will continue at this level for some time before proceeding to the next one. One question though, what does chitacish mean or signify? Thank you for one more wonderful session.

    • @TantraForLife
      @TantraForLife  7 лет назад +5

      Thank you for your lovely feedback Suresh ji. At this stage we are learning to explore inner space. Just as you said. Chittakasha is the combination of two Sanskrit words: "Chitta" means objects of consciousness, mind stuff, or simply; mind. "Akasha" means, quite simply, space.
      So, chittakasha therefore means the 'mind space'. It is one of three dimensions of inner space we work with in yoga meditation.

      These are precessional numbers.
      The zodiac moves backwards in relation to the earth by one degree every 72 years. Multipliers and factors of 72 are considered sacred and used frequently.
      3, 4, 6, 9, 12, 18, 27, 36, 54, 72 and ultimately 108, which is considered the perfect number.

    • @TantraForLife
      @TantraForLife  4 года назад +3

      @@llllll6936 Yes, there are three yogic practices you can do before yoga nidra to optimize your session. 1) Naukasana - do three rounds or one minute. 2) Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing)- for two minutes. 3) Trataka (fixed point gazing) - for two minutes. Doing this 5 minutes of preparation will greatly help your yoga nidra practice.

      I‘ve been listening to this yoga nidra meditation quite often for the last year and a half and have had indeed some very different experiences. Once I had this sleep paralysis with some entity/force weighing on me and choking me but for some reason I was not fearful but still aware that I’m in meditation.
      Another time I was floating upwards through some dark tunnel, also aware and curious what would happen next… but I could not see anything and was eventually back in my body.
      And another time I heard this very lovely female voice saying “I love you” into my left ear whilst or in between listening to the male speaker voice. The female voice was quite loud and very clear. I like to think it was my guardian angel but who knows. But these were just some few occasions. Usually I’m just relaxing or really falling asleep.

      Namasthe Akshma,
      Kechari Mudra is when the tip of the tongue is placed at the roof of the mouth pointing upwards towards the brow center, or even higher up towards the middle of the brain.
      Ujjayi Pranayama is when you slightly contract the clottis, or the muscles at the top of the throat where the vocal chords are, producing a light hissing sound, like a baby snoaring, with the inhalation and exhalation.
