Kurt & Nirvana helped me as a kid in the 90's to realize that it's OK not to have to submit to weird '80s-style brutal conformity. Their music and their presence helped me individuate without fear. I still miss the guy, in a lot of ways because of that. I also miss what he would have created & what would have been his influence on music. Really good interview. As I get older and having watched almost every piece of interview footage I can get my hands on, It does seem to be more apparent, that Kurt during his interviews, was not always his natural self, which is what really makes this interview interesting, as he is very relaxed and seems very open with his responses. I also really enjoy listening to Krist in his interviews in present day and his open views and perspective on the band. its also really interesting, that Dave doesn't usually have much to say, cause he is such an amazing story teller and super down to earth.
