Check out NST Spec’s small body lifts for the LX and then the OEM bumpers can be trimmed to give a little better approach & departure angles 👌🏼 Looked like a beautiful area to wheel in
That's just plastic, cut it off or just heat weld it back together... either way be mindfull of your cardinal angles... approach, departure, breakover and youll be A OK! 😊
Never take a truck off road if you are not prepared to break something. Especially with no rock sliders or skid plates. The LX is a great truck, but it has vulnerabilities when stock. You are lucky you didn’t bounce the transfer case off of a rock. It is made out of Aluminum and can crack easily. That roof top tent is putting a lot of weight on the rear suspension as well. If you are going to continue off roading like this you need to invest in some basic protection.
Your rig got some battle damage but that should help you plan for your next upgrades. A lift will help and probably high clearance bumpers. I would also invest in some undercarriage armor. Great video though... enjoyes watching it.
Yes! 😬 I live in a condo apartment so I can’t lift any higher unless I give up my roof top tent.. So my next upgrade will be high clearance bumpers and some rock sliders.. and eventually some undercarriage plates.. 😬 Thanks for watching! Hopefully I can post my next video soon!
@@myhappyadventures Personally I would upgrade my under carriage armor before high clearance bumpers. Your oil pan, differentials and especially your transfer case need protection especially if you're planning on hitting trails with obstacles that can get you into high center situations or just high obstacles. Look forward to your adventures 👍
OEM bumpers and sidesteps are just there to be eventually replaced; or trim them and DIY patch the cracks and use the saved cash for gas and vacation time -- it's no big deal. Also, people who actually use their SUVs for outdoor fun appreciate the functional rigs that look like they get used over mall queens. People who don't care about outdoors don't care about what condition your SUV is in anyway. Finally, the people who judge you by your vehicle in general are not the people whose opinion you should care about.
I totally agree with you! Using the LX for what it is built for! Yeah… I don’t mind the cracks anymore… I damaged the running boards few months ago too lol For now.. I’m just enjoying the outdoor like you said and they will eventually get replaced at some point.. 😬
Hey the soundtrack is really annoying and destructing. Lets hear these beasts rumble and growl in the jungle. Sorry much as i love offroading and 4x4 channels am not gonna subscribe to your channel. Very annoying
Perfect time to replace with high clearance bumpers 👍🏼
That's the plan! Stay tuned for the upgrade!
That'll buff out 😅 Looks like a fun squad man
Haha.. one day it’ll buff out 😂
Little bit of crazy glue, good to go! 😂
@@tronaboron_99 I agree!! It’ll break again at some point.. 😅
Kudos for getting out there and using your LX👏
Thank you! Trying to get the most out of this LX!
Good video - well done and fun to watch while waiting for my son to fall asleep!! 😂😅 next time get a proper steel bumper ;)
Next upgrade! Steel bumper!

I’ll check it out! Thanks for the tips! 🙂
Looks like aton of fun, good times, stay safe!
Thank you! 😆

Another excuse to get a steel bumper 😂

Rear steel bumper and rock sliders are on the way! 😆

@@itsaboutfam Yes! I agree.. Will need to slowly upgrade as I go along on my next adventures 😬
100% That could have been avoided
It was on my way back so most likely.. 😅
What where your spotters doing?
Watch me crack my bumper 😂
are your vector 5’s in satin black or titanium ?? really hard to decipher
Mine are satin black 😬 I may have some photos of my instagram.. Check it out 🙂
Time for a new bumper. I got a descent off road. It would have cleared that no problem
Yeah.. The descent offroad bumpers are awesome! 😎 Gotta stop spending money on other things to get the new bumper 😬
Will spot you better next time bro! 😅
Thanks brother.. Hopefully I can have a steel bumper by then 🙄

OMG....I want to believe that this didn't really happen
Angle of departure
Yup! 🙂
@@myhappyadventures Did you have the hydraulic suspension raised to max high? I recently had mine flushed and it goes up and down much faster now.
@@silentvoiceinthedark5665 yes.. I had it on HIGH.. Also.. the washouts were lot deeper and narrow than what it looks on the video 🥲
Tough when you have a line up of peer pressure behind you with nobody telling you to stop.
Everyone just enjoying the moment.. except me.. lol 😂
Mommy & Daddy will buy him another one
I hope so.. 🤞🏻
