I'm catching up on these vlogs because depression has been so bad lately that I've missed about a month worth of vlogs so i have quite a bit to catch up on,however with the soda thing i live in iowa and I'm a pepsi drinker used to be coca cola but it started messing with my stomach really bad so i switched to pepsi and no more problems. The only thing i ever get is omg you like pepsi yuck coca cola is way better(in a snobby voice) and I'm just like um ok lol. But i get judged for everything from the way i look talk walk act ect so i barely go anywhere. And if people are that stuck up because you drink soda imo it's your body do what makes you happy. But i only drink not even a 20 ounce a day if that so i think I'll be ok i drink like way more core water than anything lmao it's my fav water cuz i can't drink sink water idk why it just tastes weird. I got a brita filter but i still like core water better than any bottled water I've ever tried. Dasani used to be my go to until i heard some not so good things about it and i will never ever drink that water again. Peter monn who i used to watch all the time got me into core water years ago and I've been hooked ever since. Anyways sorry for rambling hope everyone is doing good. The soda thing is definitely a big city snooty thing. In Utah we have drive thrus that only serve soda and cookies. Sugar replaces all other vices for the mormons 😂

I wish I could show you how much I eat in a day. Yesterday I ate a jumbo pack of noodles A snack in between that and dinner Dinner Pancakes Wraps Apples And heaps of lollies. Ice cream Bottle of soft drink 3 bottles of water That was just yesterday most of it was at night. I'm 22wks pregnant but I ate the same way before falling pregnant. As long as you eat relatively healthy and drink heaps of water keep somewhat active kind of. My body went through a phase of being really big and now I can hardly put on weight I've put on 2kgs max during this pregnancy im 6months.
I’ve heard that watching the try guys eat the menu videos makes people with eating disorders feel comfort because you are watching someone eat a lot of food and you can see him struggling so it makes them feel like they aren’t the only ones who struggle to eat. I could totally see how seeing people eat normally with food is helpful too though. I hope you are doing well.

hi colleen!! :D as someone who talks to a registered dietitian almost weekly, sugar definitely isn’t poison for your body or extremely bad for it!! your body needs a balance of all different nutrients from food because everything in your body needs different nutrients to function properly! yes, eating too much sugar is not good for your body, but eating too much of any nutrient is not good for your body! no foods or nutrients are bad, they’re just all different and have different purposes! and drinking soda is definitely not bad as long as you are drinking water as well and staying hydrated!!! if it makes you happy to drink it, then it is beneficial for you to drink it!! and that goes for all foods!! if your body is craving a certain food, that means you need the nutrients from that food to meet the needs from your body!! all foods are healthy and have nutritional value and as long as you are eating a balanced amount of carbs, fats, and proteins and some fruits and vegetables, you will be fine!! i’m sorry that people have judged you in the past for what you eat and have made you feel like you are harming your body or being unhealthy by eating the foods you enjoy :( love you so much!!! your videos always make me so happy!!!! 💗💗💞💞

on the topic of the coke: i'm from utah and literally soda is such a huge thing here. we have multiple different soda shops all over utah. every mom goes to these shops. basically it's just a shop where you pick your soda and you can get any flavors in it. they're really good and no one judges for everyone drinking soda
I am a boy/girl twin and my mom always put bows on my head and I thought that was really cute! Maisy could grow up and love that she wore bows, or she could grow up and not want to wear bows anymore. Unfortunately you can never make everyone happy. There is always going to be someone who doesn’t like something. You dress your beautiful kids how you want too. What matters is that you and the kids are happy. Much love to you all!
It’s completely up to you how you want to dress your children, don’t feel pressured to put Wes in a bow because people are saying for you to online. It’s your life and your children and you should be able to dress them in whatever you like without people making you feel pressured about how you raise your children. Everyone has a right to make there own choices and do what makes them happy. You do what you want to do lovely, not what other people want.
I used to be one of those "UGH SUGAR" people, because idk I must have gotten a secondhand hit of my mom's orthorexia or something. I've never felt better since following my new "eat what the body wants" policy. I also have found myself craving less comfort food ever since I started listening to my stimulation needs and rethinking my environment for ADHD. I wish I could show my past self what a difference a little compassion can make---especially when it's other people making their own choices for their own reasons

My husband and I were just discussing this literally 30 minutes ago, that our daughter gets fussy in the evening for no reason. It is so comforting to know that we are not the only ones going through that and there are other babies that do the same thing. She just whines and cries for no reason from about 5pm until 7-8pm. The only thing that soothes her is being held on my chest while being rocked and having her bottom patted.
The good ol’ witching hour, which is always multiple hours till bedtime. My daughter had it rough too in the beginning, now that she’s older I like to say that her happy meter is full first thing in the morning and dwindles as the sun goes down lol

Hey Colleen, I think it's great that you try to avoid gender stereotypes for your children for the sake of individuality, but I also think it's important to note that there will always be people on both sides of the spectrum who love to argue and certainly will. It's truly very considerate of you to protect your children's individuality, but just remember that even if people argue with you for your decisions, it isn't up to you to please them, so do what feels right for you and your family because in the end, that's what matters. You're doing a great job!

7:12 I live in Denmark and here it’s very normal to have sodas with actual sugar. Of course people also drink the diet versions but the main idea is that it’s better for you to have real sugar once in a while, than to drink lab created artificial sugar more often :) I love you and keep doing what you’re doing! Many artificial sweeteners actually create even more problems with insulin resistance. Definitely not a healthy alternative. Just have sugary soda on occasion if you want it 👍

I personally believe this is due to the population having a big Mormon presence. Mormons don’t drink coffee, tea, alcohol, etc. so the “vice” they go to is soda 🤷🏼♀️. Just a personal opinion I have, BUT figured I’d mention it bc soda in Utah has such a huge presence so the aversion to soda may be an LA/NY thing for sure!

It depends on how orthodox they are but it varies wildly. They go off of various interpretations of a document written by Joseph Smith called, “The Word of Wisdom” if you’re at all interested in learning why they don’t consume coffee, tea, etc.

The soda thing is definitely a big city snooty thing. In Utah we have drive thrus that only serve soda and cookies. Sugar replaces all other vices for the mormons 😂

I'm 22wks pregnant but I ate the same way before falling pregnant.
As long as you eat relatively healthy and drink heaps of water keep somewhat active kind of. My body went through a phase of being really big and now I can hardly put on weight I've put on 2kgs max during this pregnancy im 6months.

I’ve heard that watching the try guys eat the menu videos makes people with eating disorders feel comfort because you are watching someone eat a lot of food and you can see him struggling so it makes them feel like they aren’t the only ones who struggle to eat. I could totally see how seeing people eat normally with food is helpful too though. I hope you are doing well.

Hey Colleen! Have you ever thought about a night doula? They will literally make the bottles for you, clean them, do laundry. They let you sleep and they will bring the babies to you with bottles so you can sleep longer. Then you wake up to clean bottles and clean laundry!

hi colleen!! :D as someone who talks to a registered dietitian almost weekly, sugar definitely isn’t poison for your body or extremely bad for it!! your body needs a balance of all different nutrients from food because everything in your body needs different nutrients to function properly! yes, eating too much sugar is not good for your body, but eating too much of any nutrient is not good for your body! no foods or nutrients are bad, they’re just all different and have different purposes! and drinking soda is definitely not bad as long as you are drinking water as well and staying hydrated!!! if it makes you happy to drink it, then it is beneficial for you to drink it!! and that goes for all foods!! if your body is craving a certain food, that means you need the nutrients from that food to meet the needs from your body!! all foods are healthy and have nutritional value and as long as you are eating a balanced amount of carbs, fats, and proteins and some fruits and vegetables, you will be fine!! i’m sorry that people have judged you in the past for what you eat and have made you feel like you are harming your body or being unhealthy by eating the foods you enjoy :( love you so much!!! your videos always make me so happy!!!! 💗💗💞💞

on the topic of the coke: i'm from utah and literally soda is such a huge thing here. we have multiple different soda shops all over utah. every mom goes to these shops. basically it's just a shop where you pick your soda and you can get any flavors in it. they're really good and no one judges for everyone drinking soda
I am a boy/girl twin and my mom always put bows on my head and I thought that was really cute! Maisy could grow up and love that she wore bows, or she could grow up and not want to wear bows anymore. I don't think it matters what people say, you dress YOUR kids the way you want!! people will get mad at anything so just doing what you want is most important, not following what the internet wants you to do!

It’s completely up to you how you want to dress your children, don’t feel pressured to put Wes in a bow because people are saying for you to online. It’s your life and your children and you should be able to dress them in whatever you like without people making you feel pressured about how you raise your children. Everyone has a right to make there own choices and do what makes them happy. You do what you want to do lovely, not what other people want.

I used to be one of those "UGH SUGAR" people, because idk I must have gotten a secondhand hit of my mom's orthorexia or something. I've never felt better since following my new "eat what the body wants" policy. I also have found myself craving less comfort food ever since I started listening to my stimulation needs and rethinking my environment for ADHD. I wish I could show my past self what a difference a little compassion can make---especially when it's other people making their own choices for their own reasons

My husband and I were just discussing this literally 30 minutes ago, that our daughter gets fussy in the evening for no reason. It is so comforting to know that we are not the only ones going through that and there are other babies that do the same thing. She just whines and cries for no reason from about 5pm until 7-8pm. The only thing that soothes her is being held on my chest while being rocked and having her bottom patted.
The good ol’ witching hour, which is always multiple hours till bedtime. My daughter had it rough too in the beginning, now that she’s older I like to say that her happy meter is full first thing in the morning and dwindles as the sun goes down lol

Hey Colleen, I think it's great that you try to avoid gender stereotypes for your children for the sake of individuality, but I also think it's important to note that there will always be people on both sides of the spectrum who love to argue and certainly will. It's truly very considerate of you to protect your children's individuality, but just remember that even if people argue with you for your decisions, it isn't up to you to please them, so do what feels right for you and your family because in the end, that's what matters. You're doing a great job!

7:12 I live in Denmark and here it’s very normal to have sodas with actual sugar. Of course people also drink the diet versions but the main idea is that it’s better for you to have real sugar once in a while, than to drink lab created artificial sugar more often :) I love you and keep doing what you’re doing! Here, the standards for organic and non processed foods are very high. McDonalds is a luxury because it’s more expensive than some of the healthier alternatives!
Many artificial sweeteners actually create even more problems with insulin resistance. Definitely not a healthy alternative. Just have sugary soda on occasion if you want it 👍

On the soda topic: I live in Utah and we have literal franchises that basically only serve mixed sodas and sugar/frosted cookies. I personally believe this is due to the population having a big Mormon presence. Mormons don’t drink coffee, tea, alcohol, etc. so the “vice” they go to is soda 🤷🏼♀️. Just a personal opinion I have, BUT figured I’d mention it bc soda in Utah has such a huge presence so the aversion to soda may be an LA/NY thing for sure!

@@Cali_909 haha, most of them don’t mind it bc they’ve never had those things before. Can’t miss what you’ve never had kind of a thing. But some Mormons don’t even drink soda! It depends on how orthodox they are but it varies wildly. They go off of various interpretations of a document written by Joseph Smith called, “The Word of Wisdom” if you’re at all interested in learning why they don’t consume coffee, tea, etc.
