As a stanley cup lover, bit a person who spent nearly a year carefully thinking over the purchase before buying one I picked Stanley because. 1. I love the handle, I don't like hydro flasks and other water bottles because they don't have a handle. 2. They're a cup not a bottle, i cant drink out of bottles without spilling. But that's me and why I spent MONTHS agonizing over buying one.
@AliMJohnson if you know Stanley as a brand you know their products are usually a 1 time purchase. I've had the same stanley thermos for 10 years and I haven't even had to replace the silicone gaskets yet...and you can replace just the cap. My dad has had the same Stanley thermos for 40 years. I chose a Stanley with its high price point because for me it met my wants and would be a 1 time purchase.
Great job Kyra. i agree with all your de-influenced items. Please don’t be afraid about upsetting people with your thoughts. Everyone is going to have an opinion and if they don’t like your video, let them keep a moving. Yes please to a part 2 on this type of video!
Hey there! Thanks a lot for your awesome support and encouragement! I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the de-influenced items I shared. Your words mean a lot to me. Thanks again for your positivity and for being part of this community!
You should do a video about over consumption. I find it fascinating that people collect body care that will just go bad and how much can one body possibly go through? Or people that have 100 eye pallets and 75 blushes. It’s becoming such a thing to collectitems that can eventually go bad. self-care is just turning into buying massive amounts of body care products instead of actually being self-care.
I love this video. I fell into the " I have to get what the influencers have" trap. I wasted so much money. Now I just get what I like and need. My bank acct is proof.
I have never liked Crocks. They only look cute for kids. Would never pay $60.00 for a cup and always have been skeptical about those heated brushes. You are naturally beautiful Kyra. I have commented this many times. 😉
I used to hate crocs, yes they are funny looking. But I purchased some sandal type ones and they have lasted forever (going on three years), still in perfect condition and are extremely comfy. I use them mostly in the house.
This video is amazing. Thank you for being you. I love my crocs. They’re so comfortable… but everything else you talked about I don’t own and never will.
So for the lip balm I can recommend (Summer Fridays and Covey) As for a brow brush I just use this one amzn.to/3G4UK8M Your very welcome, hope it helps🤍
Crocs are very silly looking imo. It goes right in the direction on comfortable overriding proper dress. I miss the times when teachers dressed professionally. My kids’ teachers wear jeans, stretch pants, hoodies, and crocs. I think it’s sad and a part of the degradation of society. There’s DEFINITELY a way to dress presentably and be comfortable. Im only 40. I know I probably sound older. 😂 When a CUP becomes a status symbol- you know it’s social media winning! Social media is mostly one big ad. Remember when we hated commercials? Now we can’t get enough in its new disguised format. The mirror looks like a maxi pad.
Finding that balance between looking sharp and feeling comfy is possible. I'm in my 30s and sometimes feel like an old soul in this changing fashion scene! Social media has definitely transformed how we perceive things. It's crazy how everyday items become symbols of status. And yeah, those ads - they've gotten sneakier, blending seamlessly into our feeds. Haha, that mirror comparison really made me chuckle! Sometimes, the oddest things trigger unexpected thoughts, right?
I picked a Stanley because I needed a cup that fit in my cup holder and was going to be a 1 time purchase. Stanley items are expensive, but they last FOREVER. My dad has had a Stanley lunch box and thermos for decades. I've had a Stanley thermos for YEARS. When the cups came out, I ignored them at first because I had a water bottle. But I never used my water bottle because it wasn't easy to carry. I decided I'd like to try a cup with a handle. I spent WEEKS holding different handled cups every time i went to Fred Meyer and considering if I'd actually use it. I finally decided i would, but when it came time to buy, i DIDN'T purchase any of the cheaper handled cups because they weren't constructed as well as the Stanley's. I think it's important to remember that sometimes it's okay to spend more money if it means you're buying a better product. All that being said, I have ONE Stanley cup. It's great, but 1 is all I need, there's no need to have more than 1. And if your current bottle or Mason jar or whatever is working for you, use that and don't buy anything.
I have planter fasciitis and I wear crocks around my house instead of slippers. I’m no longer in pain! Love them! But I would never wear them outside! lol!!!
Very wise advice Kyra.., thank you. If you can do a part two, that would be wonderful. In fact, one of these once a month would be great to keep us from overspending on some items we don’t need. Thank you 🤍
I think Crocs wearers agree that they look ugly 😂 Thing is that outside of barefoot shoes (which are great btw), there's so few shoes that have big toe boxes that are natural for your feet
I think the mirror was in rockos modern life 🤣 loved all the products you deinfluenced and have had the same thing experience with wireless charging! Wires seem to be a the best to use as of now
You can do heatless curls! I just used an old tshirt and the donut method for long hair. It looks done and fancier than if I didn’t do it and it’s easy and comfortable to sleep in! Try it I think you’ll be happy
It's great to hear that you enjoyed Rosario! Sometimes, despite our best intentions, it's challenging to avoid offending everyone. It happens, but it's okay-can't please everyone, right? As long as you appreciated the experience, that's what matters!
I have the revlon and use it sparingly but the best way to use it is wait until ur hair 80% dry and then finish it off with the revlon brush on low. But if no heat is working for you stick with that because it looks amazing ❤❤
i got a non branded stanley cup off amazon and honestly i de cluttered all of my other water bottles and for my lifestyle it works amazingly but i agree the price of the stanley cup especially in the uk is truly stupid. Also YES PLEASE DO A PART 2!!! :)
I love my crocs 🤣 they're my go to shoes for around my house! I don't go anywhere else with them cuz they are definitely ugly 🤣 Loved this video!!! Part 2 please 😊
I literally found a cup that looks IDENTICAL to the Stanley cup at 5 below. Of course, it doesn’t have the logo but I would never pay $60 for a water cup 😂
1. I own it but started disliking it for same reasons. It’s not good for long hair but works better if your hair is collarbone/shoulder length or shorter. 2. I bought a Stanley cup and love it. I’m always in my car and driving for work so it’s been super beneficial to have a 40oz thermo instead of plastic bottles 3. I don’t care about making inside of car “cool” 4. Otterbox is definitely over priced. So many cheaper options that’s just as strong, agreed 5. I used to hate crocs. But I tried them during the pandemic and yep very comfortable. I own 5 pairs now 😬 6. Lip masks are very overhyped. Aquaphor 7. Agreed. Not compatible with most cases. Taking it on and off so annoying 8. Parents own that ice maker and they never use it! Just sits on counter with no ice smh 9. Lmao reminds me of Snapchat ghost 😂 but in 90s cartoons it reminds me of when they would transition into a dream and that’s what happened to the mirrors those squiggly lines 10. Saw a woman with a bbl and it was so obvious and just so unnatural because she was petite and slim. She turned to the side and her booty was enormous. It was seriously ridiculous
i love crocs but not from the brand crocs we get it locally and they are aesthetic af. I own one pair and thats all I will have till they break down. Got them over a year ago.
Surgery is not for me 😮 Unless it’s an operation for my health that is 💯 necessary! Then it’s a big NO !! No Botox , no teeth whitening Nothing for me 😅 I’m all for natural & making the best of what my mama gave me ❤
I think I might consider botox in the future. I even heard it helps with constant migraines, which I get at least 4 times a day but who knows that's far in the future. I also wouldn't mind some teeth whitening but not over the top something more natural. To each their own right 😅 and don't get me wrong I do love being natural though.
I love my Crocs but I definitely agree with BBL. I got one and once I gained weight my butt got so big it looked disproportionate to my overall body. I got it over 10 years ago and I regret it. That’s why I think you should be at least 30 to get plastic surgery. Because now the look I want is not the same from when I was 20. Great video Kyra 🤍🤍🤍
I have one of the wireless chargers and I really like it! I have from belkin, it works well for me 😊 Hate crocks though, my mum has them for holidays and whenever I tried them they’re too soft for me, it feels very weird haha I like bottles from Chilli - they’re popular in the UK, have mine for 5 or 6 years and works great 😊
You don{t have to like products just because they are Korean as that{s literally what koreaboos do and that{s just a big no 😅 it was fun to see your list! In this era of over consumerism these are always helpful to watch to remind what{s not actually necessary
I hate crocs too 😆 I'm not a fashion girl but they are ugly and don't look ok on any occasion, and don't look comfortable either. I've seen people wearing them with pins also, as accessories, it only makes them worst
I love crocs, but I buy knock off ones. I would never pay full price for the brand name. I’m pregnant and my swollen feet love them hahaha. Stanley cup I do not understand the hype…they even have a pouch you can clip on it to carry your credit card like what in the world 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️however, I do have a yeti that I bought on clearance because a store was closing down and got it crazy cheap - it’s lasted me 7 years and I love it!!!

Unpopular opinion: Stanley cups are ugly!! I hate the handles
And way too overpriced! It’s a cup, people!
Very very overpriced.
Yes! I don’t get why people are so obsessed with them 😂

We need a part 2!!
It took me a while to get the hang of the revlon - it worked so much better when I let my hair air dry 45-60 minutes before using it.
I used to hate crocs, yes they are funny looking. But I purchased some sandal type ones and they have lasted forever (going on three years), still in perfect condition and are extremely comfy. I use them mostly in the house.

Thank you

What do you think of Ugg boots? What shoes do you usually wear in the fall and winter?
I'm not a fan of Ugg boots because since they use animal skin and fur. In the fall/winter I tend to wear my sneakers or my faux leather snow boots.
And the girl with 60 stanley cups probably had 60 Hydroflasks 2-3 years ago and 60 Nalgenge bottles 10 years ago. It's insane.

Revlon you need to use on 90% dry hair and heat protector.
