- My guest this week on this special edition of The Long Form podcast recorded from Cabo Delgado, Mozambique, is the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Ronald Rwivanga.
This man is so qualified! St.Marys, Kenya is an elite school. He seems to have qualified in all fields. And current in geopolitics, diplomacy.
But coming from Rwanda, no surprise there.

As a Ugandan , I am happy that such a very good military office passed through our education system. Rwanda and Uganda are interwoven.
As soldiers, I've come to realize that we have fantastic and massive leadership in all corridors of the country. Have you seen the way they're smart and brilliant in responding to every question? Additionally, they exhibit seriousness and valor in many responses, displaying discipline, calmness, and honesty. This motivates me to fight until my last breath. I am not from DRC but as an African, there is no eloquence, smartness from Rwanda that replace or makes me consider them against what they are doing to DRC. Their actions destabilizing DRC cancel all beauty, ingenuity, greatness, army etc…that they might have, period.

You mentioned and acknowledged that RDF were involved in Congo war1 and 2 even though the Kigali regime ever denies, but you also mentioned that Congo is your eternal issue. You better note that it has moved from eternal issue to a wide black hole: a one way road with no return for RDFs. Boys will enter, but won't return, until the thousand hills country becomes a country of widows and orphans.
@bbkas9639. Are you sure that Rwanda has denied involvement in Congo 1 and 2. This is my first time to hear this. From the operation to return its refugees to the pursuit of EX FAR soldiers in Eastern DRC to the toppling of Mobutu. The african War between different nations during Kabilas time. This was too well known and documented to be missed. History must be presented in a factual manner. So I didn't want this to be missed by readers.

For your information, the Congo army has become so powerful that Kagame knows it and has kept quiet. He is no longer mocking DRC as he used to, when Joseph Kabila, his puppet, was in power. Tshisekedi called, tens of thousands of young people came, joined the military and have been trained in US, Russia, China, Israël, etc. Go to Global Power ranking site and you'll see. In Africa, Congo army went from 21st to 8th. Tshisekedi bought weapons, missiles, fighter jets, combat helicopters, drones, etc. If Congo declared war on Rwanda today, it would be the end of Kagame in less than a week.

Very good interview, very professional but I must say everyone was waiting for that last question. Unfortunately you chose to phrase it the way you saw fit. As a journalist I think the common people expect you to report facts. The PR of congo did not say if he wins within 2 weeks he will go to parliament and declare war. He did put a condition. Maybe you chose to phrase it that way for a reason. Nevertheless, well done to the RDF for all their achievements.

Made my little research on Tshisekedi and I realized he never had any tactical victor over anything in his entire life, his troops know nothing about unconventional warfare and he seeks war with Rwanda; He has no special operations capable force and he hires(underpays) genocide idealists and unprofessional mercenaries. He’s weak and ain’t going to attack nothing that’s why Rwandan Military leaders are unbothered by his threats but if he does attack Rwanda.
