All different. The 1998 vfr 800 was the most sorted in stock form. Also the easiest to lose your license on. It masked speed eerily well. It sucked you into rolling down 2-lane roads at 85-90 while feeling like 55-60. That’s actually why I sold it. Along with my 1993 Ducati 888. Neither of the bikes was particularly fast in the Gixxer sense, but they both just lulled into this la de da sense that you were just pooling along, when in fact you were in go-to-jail territory. @Opo993 Thanks man, I am blessed... It's my happy place. There's always something that needs doing 😁👍
Appreciate the comment 🙏
You’re now the proud owner of arguably the best motorcycle ever built. I too have a ‘91 VFR RC36 and it’s still a brilliantly modern motorcycle. 150,000 of virtually trouble free kilometres! It’s a keeper, as you’ll find out! The CBR1000F is another great motorcycle, I had a ‘91 in white, blue and red. Sorry today I sold it.
Thanks mate. That's brilliant.. I'm amazed at the mileage VFRs can do, without bother too. I am really pleased with finding this example.. My first ride was everything I thought it would be! 👍 I'll be holding onto mine as well for many years.
I bought the CBR1000F last year.. another excellent bike.. 😊
Lucky man
Cheers Justin, I love working on and riding each of the bikes.. even if they can try my patience at times 😄 But they are a joy to have..
Cheers mate 😎🤙🏽
You just know what to own and how to keep stable in order!Clean looking bike with best production v4 ever (and with some red seat cowl and blue stripes extending from the seat into front fairing with red beneath them and some honda gold wings on the tank...a one can only dream)
Thanks mate 👍 And yeah, I wish too.. If I really squint, & say RC Thirty...........six 😄 True, one can only dream. Cheers
@@woooster17 more like with closed eyes you say haha😄 I just can't help but to think of a white Honda v4 motorcycle as a blank canvas or carte blanche ready to have some hrc soul puted into it in whatever amount one desires.25th anniversary 2007 model is the only nice newer vfr in my humble opinion
@@2Fast4You-636 Agree 😄👌
You ask 'Decent purchase'...well we got to know what you paid before we can decide. It's a stunner but if you paid silly money then no.
It was worth what I paid..to me. It was a fair amount less than £4k.
Cheers
I have had a lot of superbikes in my time but I have to say nothing rides as nice as a Honda in my opinion that is a lovely example of a vfr750 enjoy.
Thank you my friend, I’m really pleased to find a good one.. I’ll be holding onto this bike for many years hopefully 😁👍🏼
Excellent condition looks great 👍
Cheers Stuart.. much appreciated mate.. I'm pretty pleased with it. 😁👍
Awesome pretty condition gor a 33 years old bike...outstanding beautiful machine.
Thank you my friend, it really is in wonderful condition for 33 years of age.. not so many like this anymore.
I have just ordered a stainless steel manifold that fits the oem silencers, so it will look shinier underneath 😄👌🏼
Appreciate the comment 😎🙏🏽
The bike looks great, enjoy!
Thanks mate, really appreciate that.. I really enjoyed my first ride on it 😁👍
Wow. Looks like it’s straight out of the packet brand new. Awesome bike .
Cheers Philip, much appreciated my friend.. It really is such a nice bike to ride..& just look at and polish 😄👍🏼
I could never ride that bike, I would be too afraid of dropping it at a stop sign or some other dumb crap.
You'd be fine. It's fairly easy once you're used to the v-four power delivery.. It's an awesome bike to ride, especially when you open the throttle! 😄👍
Looks lovely mate 👌
Thanks mate, i am genuinely pleased with this bike.. I plan to put some miles on her 😁👍
Sold my 97 vfr last year absolutely loved it I had a 89 bike back in 91 loved that moved onto new stuff now but might have to get another one!
This is my first VFR, yet I've had bikes since '89! I agree, I love it too.. just a very capable, comfortable bike..that sounds great with those gear driven cams 😎
Definitely get another, there's always room for a VFR 😁 Cheers for commenting 👍
Love your bikes mate, I have had my vfr750 for about 7 years love it,I would love a cbr400 gull arm as a project
They is something about the 90is bikes and your collection is stunning
Totally agree.. & thank you my friend, much appreciated.. Today’s bikes are incredible (& not exactly cheap), but they don’t really interest me as much. I like to work on my bikes, and 90s era bikes make that still possible.. plus paint schemes in the 90s were just so damn cool!😄
Cheers mate for the comment 👍🏼
Cool to see a 99 TLR in very good shape. Keep it, love this bike.
Thanks bro.. I bought the TLR last year & love it.. I had an Aprilia RSV Factory immediately proceeding it, but much prefer the TLR.. It sounds so good! 😁
Appreciate the comment mate 👍
@@woooster17 I had one 20 years ago.... And bought one again 2 years ago in deep shirt condition, totally redone as brand new, 99 model too, live to ride it, feels like I'm 20 again. Was a superb engine and a great bike to ride. Definitely a colector bike. Also have a gsxr 600 from 2006... Love it... Only vehivle i bought brand new! Still perfect condition, beautiful funny bike, reving 16000 rpm in a F1 sound. Cheers bro
Beautiful machine in pristine condition 👌
Ride safe !
Thanks MrJdh… Considering she’s 33 years old, she’s not bad.. I’m a bit of a polisher too so, I love my bikes to look sparkly 😄
Much appreciated comment my friend, ride safe too 👍🏼
@waynester71 in that case drop by whenever you're in Holland so you can polish my red VFR 800 FI 😉
Cheers
That's well mint bro 🤟👍
Cheers Ian, much appreciated mate.. I took her out for a spin earlier..first ride. It was brilliant.. such a comfortable bike compared to my other bikes
