The scariest thing I ever faced as a manager in retail was a woman who was high on drugs and was threatening my junior staff and customers. I asked her to leave. He says the things we all wish we could say when confronted with difficult people and does not give a flying fig because he has given notice and only has a few days left to work. Working in retail or any customer service job for that matter is hard because of all the difficult entitled people who look down their noses at the employee. I worked in retail at one time and hated it. If something was marked down to $20, the customer would want it for $10. If it was marked down to $1.00 the customer would want it for 50 cents. I felt like it was in the open air markets of any major city haggling over prices. The prices are set by the store and cannot be changed by a non-management employee.

So anytime an employee is "checking in the back," it just means they're checking their phone real quick and not actually looking. It's all for show.
Maybe that works in your store. But customers know that some stores actually do check, and may actually have more in the back. Target, for one. They will radio people in the back to check. And they do it! More than once, they have retrieved items for me from Santa's magical back of store workshop. And my small local quilt store actually offers to check in the back for me when I ask if they have such-and-such. Whether they find it or not, I really appreciate that they try, and thank them. This is too funny… brings back painful customer service job’s memories of my youth😂well done!❤
Oh, me, too!
Haha same here 😂 wish I could of replied like this lol I think some people need to hear it 😂
I think I just listened to each of these clips like 15 times in a row I’m still fucking laughing. Each one is just uniquely hilarious and I love his tone and his expression when he says. “I’d like to speak to your mother!”
The "I'm never coming back!" line always got me. Like, whew, I was contemplating quiting so that I don't have to deal with you again. 😂
NGL, we used to hide in the back when we saw certain customers about to walk in!!! Let the new guy have it! 😂
This was me when I was a cable tech, having customers always calling us out for the littlest thing and then be like "I'm thinking about switching services" and I'm like "Good. Then I don't gotta come back here anymore." Lol
First time I ever heard that from a customer, I was like, "what do I tell my manager??"😂😂😂
Oh my goddd I had to hear that so many times during the high season because higher ups made the decision to go cash free and we employees had to take the hit because it really upset our customers. Day in and day out of people being mean and rude and making a scene about something i couldn't control or change.
You'll be missed! 😂
Brilliant post . “ I wanna speak to your mother “ .,,, totally valid . Perfect statement 😂😅😢❤
I’d like to speak with your mother 🤣
It also has picture of employees smiling 😂😂😂😂😂
This is one of the funniest videos I have ever seen. Hilarious!🤣 🤣🤣
“ I wanna speak to your mother” 😂 Got me wheezing I lost it.
Lmao he is hilarious! Seriously the older I get, the more it takes for me to laugh this hard and I just had a real therapeutic laugh, the kind where you have tears running down your face and you barely make a sound! Who is this guy? I want more
Scott seiss 👍
I relate to that, getting a good laugh the brings me tears from its hilarity is very rare nowadays! Im talkin like maybe once a year!
Just had this, literally howling 😂😂😂😂😂
There are youtube videos of multiple people laughing at other people's laughs. I promise you you will be crying by the end.
This guy is a f@$king hero to retail and customer service agents everywhere!!!
Places that have good employees that care and connect you to what you need usually have products that are of value and last. There are a whole lot of places that we just do not need to shop at. Places that sell stuff that just does not last long or is marked up 10x
I have watched this dozens of times over the years and it never gets old. I still watch it 2 or 3 times in a row when I happen upon it and laugh out loud every single time. I wish I could meet this guy.
“What do you think is back there, Santa’s workshop?” 😂😂😂😂
You know what's funny? People DO want this kind of honesty. I'd purchase from this man. "I don't care if you buy it." 😂
I would presume, that people want competent employees instead
I would not. This kind of "sales persons" do not want to help you. You - as a customer - disturb them. He is on the wrong job for sure. Service and sales jobs are not for him if this is not click bait.
@schlafschafweb Right? This is not honesty. It is an aggressive incompetence. And worse part is, that this kind of people demands most patient and polite behavior from employees and everything done for them when they are customers
@@schlafschafweb we're happy to assist Qualified customers only. Most people prove themselves unworthy quickly. Terrible etiquette, entitled, asking stupid questions, while holding unrealistic expectations. Customers like that can disappear forever.
Lol you guys can think what ya want the reality is no one is going to sign up for these jobs anymore. I'm not even taking a side honestly I just feel it's important to spread the PSA...the reality of a non existing liveable wage and the physical degeneration of the average American store PLUS sooooo much more is coming to an apex and is about to turn the American consumer mindset upside-down...enjoy the karening while it lasts because these retail industries are crumbling fast for reasons you are completely unaware of...reasons the employees at the stores aren't even told and I hope everyone here has decent carpentry skills/plant husbandry skills/survivable skills because service retail from food to ikea is crumbling fast...they will call it the great starvation it'll be...well...you'll see...and yes it is our fault it happened under our watch as a society and you can't just blame capitalism...
"Can you check the back?"
"Can you just accept we don't have it?"
This one hits harder than a slap from mana
This is sooo hilariously funny😂😂😂😂😂 some magical place he said😂😂😂
Omg...these lines are all worth memorizing!!❤❤❤
That guy is awesome!!! I need that music to play every time I say something.
I was thinking the same thing about the music. It had a John Carpenter/Halloween vibe
Funny!
" I l'd like to speak to your mother" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂, for sure brother. Some people are big babies!
“Website says it was in stock, but what do your eyes say” 😂😂😂 FACTS like bro your clearly looking at an empty shelf asking me why it’s out of stock.😂
They think you're scamming them.
They are all so great but the way he delivers that first one had me watching it multiple times… “You think I own IKEA?”
That's it! 😂
In other words...do you think I give a uck!
With that music, it is perfection!!
‘We can’t go backwards, time marches on’
Such bars 🎙️
Meanwhile....the song over the PA is "Back in Time" by Huey Lewis and the News...
The I like to speak to your mother killed me 🤣🤣🤣
This absolutely hands-down has to be the best reaction video I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I can’t even imagine how much time, effort, and preparation went into making this video. I wish everyone would start making more reaction videos like yours. Simply amazing!
Oh shit!!! I love this man!!! So on point!!!! People are so self involved!! Lmfao😂❤😂❤
Americans are the capital of ego and arrogance😂
"You just lost yourself a customer"
*"That's fine... I just got another one at the end of this video"💀*
OMG!! I have not seen this since in came out a while ago 🤣🤣🤣🤣 ohhh if he were my coworker I would love to come to work everyday. Hadn’t laughed this hard at work since high school…we need to bring back making each other laugh so hard that we cry 🥰🥰 too funny.
I'm litterally checking in the back for someone right now.
😂
Are you really checking or just taking a five minute break?
@@eyekandy3000same difference.
I go to the back to bring fresh plants for custumers😭
I wish I could talk to customers like this when they are being unreasonable 😂
You can
I can SO RELATE!!! Freaking hit😂😂😂😂😂
I watched this 4 times and forwarded twice!!
I laughed so hard 😂😂😂 watched so many times that I am ashamed to admit 😂😂
Yes, he speaks the truth. Whoever worked in a store knows what he is talking about. Customers can be very unrealistic.
This is the best clip I've seen ever on RUclips😂😂😂
The original is better since it doesn't have some 55 year old grifter stealing content pop up every 5 seconds
I'm a total Karen and this guy is the Jack Nicholson of customer service and I'm **FULLY** here for it. Lmfao! The music too!!! I'm freakin' DEAD!🤣😂🤣😭
That's great..the Jack Nicholson of customer service. Epic comment
Please do stand up comedy!😂😂 I'm dying!!😂😂
The level of sarcasm is supreme!!! I do that too and kiddos to you for training people with the reality of the stupidity of people who think the world revolves around them 👍👍🤔
Where's the sarcasm?
This is just bad manner.
I'm happy to get to the point where the customer is NOT always right.
This is a day in the life of every retail associate ever, forever internally monologuing...
Aman! I hated people when I had jobs when you had to deal with the public! This is great, would love to say that when I was working! 😂😂😂
Half way through a 2 week notice is wild😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dude's comedic timing is perfect! I expect to see him on Gutfeld soon
Went from working for Ikea to becoming a cop harassing Batman 😂
If I could go back in time ,, I’d hand deliver these lines 👊🏽👊🏽😆😂🤣
Omg it TRUE! Haven’t you worked anywhere before the Manager doesn’t know what’s going on 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
Or care
Lmaooooooo the way that 80s crime scene music comes on at each interaction!!!!!
do you know where this song is from?
@@unforeseencircumstances no clue?? Maybe "law and order"? That 90s tv show?
Yeah I need to know lol
It's perfect! 😂
It sounds very familiar tho
😂😂😂 watch this 20 times, still playing while I'm typing this comment 😂😂😂
Brilliant! Lmao! Got to be one of the best I've seen this year. Maybe even the best!
This guy deserves a TV show.
One man show

There is an interview here but naturally you can’t copy and paste a RUclips link on RUclips. Idiots.
Lol I knew it. "When does it end, Diane?"😊 priceless
Funniest thing I’ve seen all day! 😂😂😂
Speak to your mother part had me on floor laughing😂😂😂
