    Thanks so much Vonne!!! My friend,s birthday is coming up, she lost her megalodon shark tooth necklace, so I got a new tooth and knew I wanted to wire wrap it. You are my all things wire wrapping Yoda, so I was thrilled to find this tutorial!!
    I'm doing the easy wrap and NOT using titanium wire...like I did on my first wire wrap project (resin moon). 😂😂😂 I learned my lesson!!
    Much love!!

    My grandmother taught me to look for teeth at a very young age. We both keep piles and piles of teeth but at 27 I've only just now started doing something with them. I trained one of my childhood dogs to find sharks teeth so now I'm looking to make a necklace dedicated to that pup. Your teaching will help a ton in this. May even continue and wrap teeth for my bridesmaids. Ideas are endless when you learn the techniques. Thank you!

    Yvonne - I've been a fan of yours (ever since I became bedridden with three chronic pain diseases - although I've been making beaded jewelry and wire wrap jewelry for 20 years - just never had the time to watch this much youtube!) and I saw last week that you had a wire wrapping shark tooth tutorial. This past weekend we went on a getaway to the ocean and I was able to buy some shark's teeth!!! I bought 9 of them - so I think I'll make 2 of your simpler designs for my nephews (5 and 8 yrs old) and then try my hand at your more fancy GORGEOUS one!! Thank you fr your continuous inspiration!! There are plenty of wire wrap jewelry tutorials but YOURS are always the high quality types of work that I'm interested in achieving. Much love to you! 💙💜❤️

    Yvonne, you are such a lovely person inside and out, and it carries over into your beautiful artwork. What I love is that your tutorials are not stiff, and strict...but rather it has charm, beauty and true artistry like you. I also love that you accept the little things that go "wonky" :) and show us how to work with it, let it be whatever it turns out being and which gives it the real depth and amazing handmade quality that people love to buy and enjoy having and giving. So thank you for putting so much heart as well as skill into your videos and work. God Bless you and your family.

    I'm so glad I came across this tutorial! I'm using your larger wrapped design as inspiration for a (roughly) 44.5mm fossilized shark tooth I'm wrapping in sterling silver as a birthday present for my brother. I was looking everywhere for a design that wasn't overly simplistic nor covered up too much of the tooth. It's really pretty without being feminine, which I absolutely love. Thanks for sharing!

    Oh my oh my oh my. This piece is Spectacular Spectacular...(as they would sing & dance in Moulan Rouge) I happened to find 48 shark teeth at Michlers Beach today & a cpla of them are quite nice for wrapping(3-1" Lemon Tiger Shark) I stumbled across your tutorial & I've got to say...I forgot all about my acrylic paints I had laid out to work on a canvas. I had wire cord & tooth all set to go for a 5 minute wrapping but this tute has changed my whole plan. Off to the craft store in the A.M. to buy wire...not paints/brushes or canvas this time...say what? I'm even doing this before I open up my new Monet Frrench Easel that got dlvrd today! Say What????You might've sunk a whole new hook in my cheek! Thanks sooo much!!!❤✌👍

    Hey Yvonne, this is amazing, it's like you have a little camera in my house! Joking of course..my husband manages a high risk treatment center for at risk youth, he called me today and said can you find your shark teeth, I've been promising a young man a wired wrap sharks tooth...I have a bunch of them wired wrapped from years ago. But I was thinking I wanted to do something special for him..I said to John, my hubby ( are you sure the teeth are really sharp)..but long story short ...I got on to see what you were up to today and wrapping sharks teeth is what I saw. The universe is awesome!! So are you! Thanks!!
    We used to work together at a facility...and I would teach the guys to bead and wire wrap..some of them are still at it!

    Wow that turned out amazing. It looks a bit Egyptian relic or something. Nice work. Halfway through when you turned the bale upside down you had a perfect collar and tie. Thats a future project I hope lol. You might spell it 'Bail' I'm from Scotland we don't lol. I've been following your leather work too and I'd love to see you make a Sporran for a kilt incorporating your Celtic cross designs. We also wear kilt pins usually from antler bone for decoration or a a bird of prey holding a coloured stone. You would do ok selling those with your skills. Google Sporran and kilt pins and you'll see what I mean. You could easily do some great wire designs. You've inspired me to give it a go. Thank you for that. I have a brand new leather sporran thats just rubbish. If it would help I could send you it and you could take it apart to make a pattern and make me a new one for me as a project. This one is just leather but we use animal fur too(not rabbit I don't think lol). I think it would be a cool idea to have an American hide and native American stone idea while keeping the Scots and Celt theme if you get me?

    • @backtoearthcreations
      @backtoearthcreations  7 лет назад

      oh, wow, that is a brilliant idea! I have some bag patterns that I think I could modify to be more traditional Sporran style :)

    • @MrRossmeldrum
      @MrRossmeldrum 7 лет назад

      That would probably do the trick. It is kind of like a small satchel type bag. Only thing is it does hang at a mans tender dangle parts if you get me? So the lighter the weight the better lol. I don't know about the American Scots, if they do traditional Kilts for weddings there? But over here its all we do for weddings. There are a million Sporran designs. But I think you could make a kickass one. Well the best of luck with it and if you do a tutorial Give Ross Meldrum a shout and I'll be watching it lol this is for an old style Sporran but might give you some ideas of how its made hope it helps. www.troop7.net/resources/5.%20old%20style%20sporran%20patterns.pdf
      This is the new style pattern but I think you could improve on that. www.troop7.net/Resources/6.%20Modern%20Sporran%20Pattern.pdf

    Hi Yvonne! I've been enjoying your wire wrapping tutorials. I do have a question that has to do with a similar wire wrapped sharks tooth pendant. I used .925. I was thinking of putting a patina on it, but don't want to discolor the tooth at all. Do you know if or not a patina will color the tooth (it is a light colored tooth & want to keep it that way!)?? Can you help?

    Love your tutorials! You have such a cute laugh too! How about doing a tutorial regarding what you hang your pendants on? Chains, handwoven or bought, leather, etc. Would be much appreciated. Robin
