Also, the bottom spring plate is carbon fiber. It uses a different woven pattern and maybe processing. This same carbon fiber weave is seen in basketball shoes such as the air jordan 11, and i think this kind of woven carbon fiber is more springy or responsive. The plate on the other cleats, the vapor carbons, is more tightly woven, seen in more structural and stiff construction, such as the chassis of sports cars like lamborghinis.

Point being, maybe the kid won't fulfill his NFL dreams but if he falls short he still might be a D1 player which is obviously a great place to be in life. You go 1/2 a size up for nike shoes because they're all narrow. Maybe even a full size for these

Jaycob Geisler I havent tested them to see if water will come thru but when I washed them by hand the water didn't soak in anymore than other cleats
I hope they make these again but more durable
