It’s good to hear him sounding well after the myriad medical issues that have affected his voice. He always seemed like a very nice guy who didn’t deserve the run of bad luck he had. Bravo. (But I still think that Schuman extreme vertical mouth opening is fundamentally wrong, and deprives the voice of ‘morbidezza’.)
@@robertmanno5749 At the end of his career Corelli tried singing this way as well. I think he was casting about for some way to regain the brilliant sound he knew he was losing. When nothing worked he quite sensibly retired.
Yoon, you should try to play the violin while holding Stephen wrapped in one of your arms like Hauser does with his singing girlfriend. He plays the Cello. HE HE HE
I am always shocked, whenever i read bad comments about the way this tenor sings. I am really not an expert, i just love to listen to beautiful music and i can´t get it: this vioce and the way he´s performing is always touching my heart. I am so happy to find the great "Rigoletto" performance from Bregenz online yesterday and i am thankful for this video on youtube, too. Sorry, can´t say anything about violine,its , so sorry, not my favourite instrument...
