I have this saved in my Bass Stuff playlist and listen from time to time still. This is a good example of a perfect bass solo in my opinion:
1. It's got some serious flash and shows off outstanding technique
2. It's musical - it's not just an athletic slapfest, there's some hook-y melodies too
3. It's not too LONG.

Awesome bass solo bro. The triple doubles are as clean as Victor himself does. As a bass player myself I can appreciate just how difficult it is to keep those clean on a few notes let alone going all the way up the neck like that. Very cool style indeed, thank you for sharing that with us all.

played bass for about a year or so when I was a teenager... Im 50 now.. just picked it up a couple months ago.. only spent a min or two but I never could get slapping. Don't know if I ever will.. Few songs I like use a slap or two (thank god) outside of that I don't really need to know how, still would be nice thou. Nice playing, watching you almost makes my head spin.

+Blaise Marak the action of the bass has to be low, then you don't need to put much effort on your playing. I guess it's hours and hours of practice and then your playing becomes more relaxed cause you don't do unnecessary movements

This particular bass does not sound as bright and good as when you played the same groove on a Wal. The Wal is way better and clearer. But then again the Wal is probably €4000 more expensive. I love your style tho
