i think another thing to think about is community member experience. High level for whatever reason doesn't feel like 'home'. Skool builds community engagement much better, and I think it's more subtle than leaderboards. The simplicity is very inviting.. to much complexity is not always better
I totally agree. GHL won't be able to duplicate that nor will they try but I think that's more for the community owners then the people in the communities
Thank you Ron, for these great insights and comparisions. You saved me a lot of time, so I don´t have to do the research and can make a clear decision now 👍
Great nonbiased comparison! How about when you start from scratch, needing to build funnel software, website, e-mail marketing etc? And let's say I want to do marketing for clients, is GHL better for that because of the subaccounts? I do feel that GHL communities lack the soul that Skool communities have, but seeing how fast GHL is evolving I don't know if that will be the case forever. You do have an interesting point about the Skool marketplace, the ability to give value in other communities so you drive people to your own community. But then again, it can also be a disadvantage as people can be drawn to other communities as well. In the end I think social media has the most impact on converting.
We use GHL for our marketing automation, calendars, etc. We use Skool for our communities. I don't think anyone will every match Skool's culture, it's unique and they make it a lot of fun to own a community there. I think feature wise, GHL will catch up and maybe even surpass. I can see social media scheduling, AI & automated DM messaging, etc. They have all the tools to make it work, which will be helpful from a management perspective, but that's several months if not years away. They gotta get the basics first.
I have been paying GHL for almost a year now and 'wanting to build something'. I finally have the time and figured out what I want to build, and was about to join SKOOL but looks like GLH already has everything I want!
Great video I’ve been planning my brands redirection and building a community is going to be a big deal for us. I’ve really been trying to figure out what brand because I’m already a GHL user. I like the Skool community culture and the discovery features and app access. Has anyone worked with GHL community via any apps with their community?
@@Ronmedlin I recently found the beta for Kollab. It’s not that bad. Seems like they are working on it constantly and haven’t fully released the feature yet.
@@RonmedlinI found an app right after i commented but haven’t had time to figure out how to add my community to the app. I’m guessing that how it works. Sorry didn’t watch the whole video and didn’t see anything about an app in the chapters
They do this with lots of tools not sure if there are legal implications or not. I believe they were going through a law suit with Clickfunnels at one point but not sure what happened

Yes. HighLevel tends to portray a more complex user interface.
You crushed it man! I’d add a pin that the chat feature is live as someone mentioned here. Cheers!

Go High Level
Thanks for the great comparing.. More informative and I love it.
Thank you.. Have a blessed day
Cheers.
You're very welcome!
@@Ronmedlin Thanks

Yep

@@Ronmedlin got it. I will use Skool for communities then and GHL for marketing. After all, community is about feeling and not features
Good work❤
Thanks 🔥
In HighLevel, I hate how when people answer the membership questions, after I approve them - I no longer have access to their answers. Big headache
Yeah agreed. They got some stuff to fix
great video
Thanks Alex. Are you starting a community? Did you pick one yet?
So now that GHL has the chat feature Ron, what are your thoughts now?
It's a viable choice for sure. Probably still a little buggy but should be fine
I have been paying GHL for almost a year now and 'wanting to build something'. I finally have the time and figured out what I want to build, and was about to join SKOOL but looks like GLH already has everything I want!

They have the Kollab app but it's kinda crap
@@Ronmedlin I recently found the beta for Kollab. It’s not that bad. Seems like they are working on it constantly and haven’t fully released the feature yet.
Yes i think go high level is much better just because you have all the other marketing features. But if your an influencer you would like SKOOl better
Need a new video soon! GHL is moving so fast with this
You're right
I don't really care about community from either platform. Which has better add-ons like chat bots, ai tools etc.
Neither at the moment
One is an app, the other is not. Unless I’m mistaken; this makes a huge difference.
I think you're mistaken:)

Is GHL likely to face a legal suit that will oblige it to make its community look different?
They do this with lots of tools not sure if there are legal implications or not. I believe they were going through a law suit with Clickfunnels at one point but not sure what happened
Can anyone tell me if there is a limit on the quantity and size of video files in the GHL member area?
Is it possible to insert RUclips links?
Looks like 4GB. Don't believe so in courses
doesn't high level have a sms or whatsapp integration feature?
Yes but not DM to members inside the community like Skool does
I'm really torn, I want to launch a community, GHL seems not as user friendly as SKOOL, GHL seems very business like. I really don't know what to do
I just got my hands on what GHL is releasing at the summit. You'll be very happy:)
