Hey Man. Great content! I have one Skool Community with two types of customers (700 usd/year and 2k year). Do you recommend to have 2 different communities or everyone in the same with some courses permissions?
I like the 2 community model and use the free community as a funnel to generate and nurture leads and ascend them out of there to a paid community or high ticket as soon as possible
Wow! Add a private channel is game changer! Plus the ability to schedule posts, people were asking in skool. Own branding on our apps for GHL? Amazing! Why arent they talking about this? Stripe. 4.9% fee. Skool 2.9% stripe fee.
There's a lot more benefits though. You basically get a new $1000 course every month from the Skool Games recordings. I love it. And the ROI is well worth it.
99% of the groups don't have 10K MRR . If you need 20 different groups, you pay $2K per month for Skool. For GHL, its still $97 per month. The other thing is take the value of all the marketing that GHL does for $97 including websites, SMS, Emails, CRM......so your Analysis is not making sense
@@Ronmedlin I am building communities for clients and so expect to build 100s with GHL. How about the fact that you can't whitelabel Skool for clients? When comparing tools, always look from different perspectives
Ron is not wrong about those fees. The extra 2% monthly x 12months is a lot of annual cheddar you're not getting. One could call those fees "Nacho Cheese".🤣🤣🤣
On a serious note, you could get your own merchant account (like I did) and pay 3% plus a small $29 monthly fee and save thousands of dollars over Stripe.💰
Hey Ron great video thanks!
How would you move a community off Skool and over to GHL?
The transaction fee thing is a great clarifier.
I found out that stripe also charged 2.9% so that is an error on Skool's site
@@Ronmedlinso Skool is 4.9% as well? Same as ghl
@@Ronmedlinis skool also 4.9% for skool? I'm thinking of moving to GHL.
Thanks for the breakdown Ron! Glad that GHL now offers an acceptable community experience.
Definitely getting there
GHL is good because the feedback goes straight to developers who are really fast at turning around new features.
Yes they definitely move fast
brilliant absolutely love this
Thanks man! I really appreciate that

Thanks for breaking this all down! I've been curious to know what you thought of GHL communities! Would you go with GHL if you were starting over now?
Probably if I hadn't already experienced Skool. Would probably make things easier and they'll probably have a lot of cool stuff coming out

I actually found out that wasn't accurate, stripe also charges 2.9% not sure why Skool has it on their site
Hi ron great video! So there are no savings on Skools end for tx fees?
We can replace the pixel inside GHL by using a workflow with Meta conversion API.
Yeah that works with trigger group access approved as trigger and I guess pixel would work for retargeting.
I’ve seen the chats and events calendar
Awesome
@@Ronmedlin do you know if/when polls and scheduling post will drop on ghl?
I frankly find it rediculous they are charging $99 for 1 community instead of opening for like 3

@ when you’re starting out and testing the waters $200/$300 per month just to test is frankly a waste if you already have gohighlevel.

Makes perfect sense for our model. I would never create 20 communities:)
