Female giraffes typically become sexually mature around three years old, and this breeding happened naturally within Jasiri and BB's timeline for sexual maturity. To support healthy, natural reproductive cycles, we avoid using contraception for breeding pairs and let nature take its course whenever possible. This pregnancy is an exciting milestone for our team and for first-time mom BB!
