Special thanks to the guy who sent this to me on Instagram. This is how you watch RUclips Videos on your cars infotainment screen. In order to do this you need to have Android Auto and download the app from the link above.
Please drive responsibly. If you drive around watching RUclips videos and get pulled over that's all on you. Also do not put other people's lives in danger by driving around and watching videos. I got this working in my 2016 ford focus st and this will work with any car that has access to Android Auto.

I think I had used my OnePlus 5T in this video. It was a great phone. I use a Pixel 4 XL now.
I did everything you said to do , but went i try to play a video in the car stream it says click last icon in bottom bar & star playing from RUclips auto app but it doesn't show me the last icon in my truck, its a truck a silverado 2017 and I don't know what to do next??

I don't get the car share when clicking on that last icon to return back. I am using a Kia UVO system. Any ideas? I see the app in the music section but not on the the exit screen. Already turned on the unknown source, too.

Does this work with a new version of Android Auto? The button that you use to click on car stream it doesn't exist in the new version of Android Auto

Thanks dude. Steps have changed slightly to get into developer mode but this was a lot easier than I initially thought it was going to be. Thought I'd have to root my phone for a minute.

When I open my android auto it looks totally different than yours it doesn't look like an app and there's no about button
FYI, doesn't work with a Kenwood DNX575S. When I click the button to switch to car stream in android auto, car stream is missing from that screen.

sir i installed car stream version 2.0.5 in latest version of android auto. i played youtube video in car stream, when car is parked , stable, not moving then video and audio are perfectly working but when car is moving then audio is ahead and video is behind. it is a kind of lag, gap or mismatching. can u provide any solution please

If you're not going to show people how to change the security settings to allow you to download the App, then how can you call the video a How To, you need to show all the steps and slow down when explaining, RUclips got rid of the maximum video duration ages ago, you can take your time, no rush....

No not the same release date as far as I know. If you are having issues then try Google Play services 12.2

I couldn't get into Developer settings in Android Auto.
Does not work any more. Andriod auto version 3 patched and upgraded to prevent video or even streaming videos from functioning even if you have this car stream version. It's a very low level block with no work around unless you void warranty and jailbreak downgrade Ford sync ro the old version.
I done everything and got it on my car but no videos are playing no even menus from car stream
