Its always fascinating to see what different chats do when given the ability to speak.
I'm guessing that 1) Jo's chat is pretty chill and wholesome anyway, and 2) the mods probably have a very strict filter going for TTS.

Gobbo saying "Deez nuts." Is a close second.
The "Meow" bit really got me because of Gobbo looking back at the page after every "meow" as if he's having to double-check if it's really another Meow that he has to read.
also the combination of "Father, I crave violence" immediately followed by "Eldritch Blast" cracked me up.
After reading this comment I watched carefully and figured it out - Gobbo is programmed to look at the page whenever there's punctuation, like a period, comma, etc.
Mine was "Gobbos rise up and redel", then "Deez Nuts"
Gobbo needs at least 14 cookies a day i know that for sure

i mean jocats content originated ON this kind of stuff say DnD and other such things so no suprise here. also it is cute little gobbo i dont think anyone WOULD be willing to such a thing with gobbo. as who would get gobbo bloody unless he did some hunting for food. (though the only blood likly end up as fish anyway because gobbo does have a hard time with anything not fish related thats also not stationary

Chris Pratt had a similar story. Was fishing with his kid and the little guy reeled in a fish and was trying to unhook it. Fish did fish things and flopped out of the boat. Kid said he wanted to do a swear, which was ok when fishing.

@@sanga1380 To be fair, Eldritch Blast is a Warlock cantrip, while Fireball is a Sorcerer/Wizard level 3 spell so that tracks. Even if Gobbo is a filthy multi-classer, he is still only level 2.

I saw a Tumblr post the other day about the idea of a warlock patron that was a hivemind, but then interpreted this as twitch chat. Whether or not it was actually played in a game I'm not sure (it sounds REALLY hard to roleplay, maybe not impossible though) but the idea seemed neat enough, and at the very least "hivemind patron" is somewhere in my list of ideas now.
90% of chat had violent PTSD as soon as Gobbo uttered "Tell me"

@@HazeEmry In the game Final Fantasy 14, a game that Jocat and a majority of his fanbase is well known for playing and making content about, there is a cutscene in which the major antagonist of the early game delivers his big motivational monologue after randomly superhero-landing in front of you and starting off his speech with these exact same words. Not only does said speech contain several elements which have since been memed into the ground by the community, the cutscene in which it happens is also infamous for being one of the few in the entire game that is entirely unskipable, not to mention it is at least 5 minutes long. As it is also part of a dungeon that rewards you with a large quantity of ingame currency and EXP once per day, it is naturally run quite often, much to the headache of everyone involved.

I like to imagine Gobbo only knows key words. Like they can only read Nouns. So if they read the sentence "Don't give Sally peanuts, for she's allergic." They immediately go to fetch peanuts for Sally, because that's the only word they know besides the many times mentioning Sally.
Words cannot describe how utterly fucking adorable this is.
I looked over at my Gobbo plush sitting on my shelf (protecting my bags of dice when they are not in use) and smiled.
I like the idea that the lower the cost is for making Gobbo talk, it just makes Gobbo more and more open to suggestion.
There's a streamer who goes by the name of Lolotus I believe. She has a pet as well. BUT not only can you make the pet speak but the pet has an ai that learns and can talk on it's own. very cool stuff and entertaining. her pet is really sassy and sometimes out of pocket and rude and it's a fun time
