I went through most of my life watching movies, plays and learning to laugh when other people did because I couldn't comprehend the story line . it was a blank no matter how hard I tried. That eventually went away in my forties. Ive had numerous head injuries during my childhood. I think this may have had something to do with it. Drugs slowed my thoughts down and made me feel connected and good about myself. This is a horrible and sometimes grossly misunderstood disease
Thank you for sharing your truth. I understand I cracked my skull open at 4 yrs old and I to have numerous concussions. I relate. Thank you for letting me know I'm not alone with my weirdness.
