Spider, Agree with you.I went to a harley dealer not to far from house,ask them to do a repair on my 87 fxr they said we can't. Your a harley dealer I asked, they said my bike was to old-what a joke.
4 Months ago I went to the local H/D dealership with my 2013 Fat Bob with a small light problem on the dash they then tried to sell me a sissy bar , a T shirt and bike Insurance but they wouldn't fix the light problem because I didn't buy the Extended Warranty , I payed $18,000 for it and At the time I only had the bike for 3 weeks now that's Service, the light was just a ABS bull shit
I love Harley-Davidson's, owned a night train only for a short time (Health and then resulting money problems... thank to the best social system in Germany we ever had, what a joke, btw) and badly missing it. I worked at a big dealer for six month and get kicked out 2015, see above ;-), I can complain with you guys! HD: It is or is trying to be a modern company! In a sick system. The results we all see! For those like me definetly not a pro wrencher we need that good guy to trust! They are hard to find! Should we create a list of good guy (wrencher) in your neighborhood, worldwide! That would help to live that dream...
Harley Davidson like any other company, business wants to earn money. They are not different than any other company. Even our own companies. Use any trick, any way to earn more. So all of us need to understand and go with this. They need to survive, to earn and to have a very good business. Saying that Harley Davidson motorbikes are great for me. I love them. But am careful how much to spend in this Money grabbing world
Hello my name is Edward Potter I'm 51&disabled but still can ride want to I've been riding over 30years riding is like thearpy it definitely helps my PTSD last few years I've had some bad, hard luck no motorcycle my wife of 23 years passed away I lost my land&home that were paid for I became homeless etc I live in a small apartment in Washington n.c get a small retirement check each month which it takes every bit of money to pay rent&bills etc I want to live my dream which is live from my motorcycle travel America 🇺🇸 make videos of where I go people I meet motorcycle maintenance camping etc I don't want a hand out a hand up be nice maybe Harley Davidson can sponsor me I need a bike if I get a bike I can use my retirement to live on each month please Harley Davidson give me a hand up please 🙏....I think it would benefit me&your company 😊....please Harley once again give me that hand up &let me& your machine travel the United States 🇺🇸 God Bless

The last time I put my 85 Harley FLHTC in the shop they charged me a double rate because it was too old.
