Got in the apprenticeship in 1999. Got my Wesco boots with the money I made the first month. Still have that pair. Rebuilt multiple times. Still wearing them on occasion. Fine product. IBEW Local 702 hand.
As someone who ran the stitchers for a few years at Wesco, It was one of the most challenging yet reward skills I've ever learned. I'll forever remember building hand crafted boots by hand.
I really admire how you captured the quality of craftsmanship. You can literally see people putting their heart and soul into these boots. It's something that America has stepped away from I'm sorry to say, but today, people just do what they have to do to get by. I own a pair of Westco boots and after watching this video, I feel more proud to own them knowing what it took for them to make them for me. Great video!!!!!!

I have had my wesco highliner boots for 7 years climbing poles they finaly need to be replaced i could not of asked more out of a boot. Most lineman i know swear by wesco! owsome to see how they are made.
