iPOP fue un programa de vida breve en La 2 de TVE, dirigido por Jesús Ordovás y presentado por La China Patino. Las actuaciones en directo en plató se reducían a 2 canciones por grupo y una solía ser una versión. Aquí tienes algunas de esas actuaciones y algún reportaje esporádico.

Aquel 2006 les vi en un concierto gratuito en el Parque del Espinillo, Villaverde, Madrid, del que no recuerdo gran cosa (no se si ellos habian bebido más o menos que yo)... lo que me sorprende ahora es ver tan joven a Jason Isbell. Es curioso que unos años después me hice fan acérrimo de la carrera en solitario de Isbell, y no tanto de los Truckers sin él.

Con el álbum conceptual “The Dirty South” publicado el 24 de agosto del 2004 donde se puede apreciar la gran maestría de Isbell en la slide y además aportó cuatro temas al álbum, además Cooley toma el liderazgo vocal con cuatro canciones más y sobre todo la canción que el álbum llamada “Where the Devil Don't Stay" que es una genialidad y donde se Isbell con el riff luego de los versos más su solo de slide que hace de “The Dirty South” el mejor álbum de la banda que no abandona su estilo y lo acercó más a las masas.

I would venture to guess these guys have more in common with the kind of people who understand the affect that the industrial revolution, and eventually coal mining had on the entirety of the south, big industries that both Democrats and Republicans both support. I hear anti-government themes in their songs, so I think just calling them “Democrats” is a very myopic view. They grew up as working class Americans who understand the plight of the working class, something 98% of politicians don’t at this rate.
Yeah Democrats that still see the party as the roots it took off as, not this circus shit we've been dealt with for the last 2 shareholders that's seen the seat!
