The thing I love about hardware and modular, is it just has to not sound bad to be "good enough". When I get bored I introduce something or take something away to make it interesting again. When I sit in front of a DAW it has to be perfect in every way. It feels much more free and rewarding to just go with the flow of what the machines want to do and just guide it where I can.
