I love the videos, it's great that I can stay updated on my state's politics even though I attend a school out of state. The content is solid, and I think your next step should be increasing the quality. Take time to get shots where people aren't tripping over their words, and see about getting a clip-on mic. I really think this would help a lot, because higher quality gets more people interested. Keep up the great work though!
Thanks Ethan! This was our first time filming with other people. The students in the video came from universities across Kansas and we had a small 2 hour window to shoot. Of course, Kansas gave us a super windy day!
I like that you answered my major criticism of the expansion. That the 10% share would still be a cost the state could not afford. remind me though, I recall that the initial cost share between the state and the was overwhelmingly borne by the Federal Gov at the same. But I can't remember if it was 90% or if it was something higher that then settled at 90%. All i recall was that it was phased in over several years to the finial level of support.
Good God! The background music is unnecessary, distracting., and drowning out the voices with background noise. Music is inappropriate for presentation, making this resentation unbearable to listen to. T Why do you feel you need the mismatched musuc???? You dont.!

The match rate started at 100% in 2014 and bottoms out at 90% in 2020.
It would be a cost the state did not want to afford. So, you all understand why a lot of conservatives say that welfare is a state's responsibility.
