Making The Ultimate Can Am 12 Gallon Trunk Box

Following my 2020 Can-Am Outlander 1000r build series - in this video I install the Cam-Am LinQ 12 gallon (45L) Cargo/Trunk Box. The Part number on this trunk box is 715003879.
One thing I noticed when I installed the 12 gallon trunk box was that it was bouncing all over the place on the trails, which was pretty annoying us. So we found this idea of modifying Can-Am 12 gallon trunk box so that it would no longer bounce around. 🤘🏼
To do this we used a set of Can-Am LinQ fasteners, part number 715001707. All that we used for the job was a pencil, Dremal 4000, and some 220 grit sandpaper to finish off the edges.
I'm really happy with the way this modification turned out, now that the 12 gallon trunk box is no longer bouncing around like a wild horse. By the way, the 12 gallon trunk box makes for a great passenger backrest, so long as you're cruising with them on and not ripping up the trails. If you are, they're ass should be upright with you anyways! 🤣
