Hey! I’m a beginner and just practising IELTS from home. I wanna know what does the bracket in IELTS answer key suggest , what does that mean when it’s written like (the) apartment, dollar(s)
The bracket shows that it is optional in answer.like if it is written that answer is (the)car....then if you had written only car.It is also correct

I was doing this practice test where the speaker said "atleast 16 years of age"
The question was: "minimum age? : ____"
I wrote 16 years
But the answer key has just 16/sixteen
How to know if I should drop the "years"
It might be one word answers questions
@@rikibrj4932 it was one word and/or a number
So 16 years was correct according to the critera
May be in question itself given( years) at the front or at the last
And when it is given that one word only so then there is very less chance means 0.01% that there would be a number in numeric in begining.

It is spreading the wrong information. General and Academic are not the same. Listening and Reading is rather tough in academic and most of the youtube listenings are from General. If you get 7-8 band in general Listening quite possible that you get 4-5. Keep in mind try academic.

They give me a fake timeslot for my online class .once i paid money after that they saif that we cant change our time slot and without attending a single class they ate my all money .
