    This really illustrates the beauty of the 2 pole endorsement. You can cover 2 different depths, different lures, different baits etc and start to dial in the bite. Those gulp maggots are my go to bait as well. I like to add some of whatever pro cure I have lying around to the jar of maggots also to get some good scent on them.

    Cool to see the home lake on your channel. Taking the kiddo there tomorrow. Angler West TV has a shop right there. You should check it out if you didnt this time. Those fish get hammered all year and never have a chance to grow. I dont know why they always stock those tiny fish there.

    IDK, I’ve been skunked by planter trout, and have had certain situations they only hit one thing. They seem to be as difficult to catch as any other species. I think they get the impression of being easy to catch because they are overstocked in some places.

    I’m big fan of your channel! I’d really like to see a comparison video of Brads Cut Plug VS Yakima Spin Fish wether it be trout, Kokanee, salmon I’d be very curious to see what results you get.

    When you use the dogers do you put any weights on it to get depth

    I don't think fish survive the summer out there at horseshoe or up the road at Kress. The fish I catch as summer starts are beginning to deteriorate due to the water being too warm. When the trout die off I'm fishing bass.

    I'm new to kayaking and want to start trolling. I don't have any kinda motor, just my paddles. Tips? I fish the Eastern Sierras and was wondering if you have a recommended setup for lures, dodgers? Thanks 😊

    Is that Horseshoe lake in Woodland? My grandfather had a house on that lake, used to take me out there on an old john boat. The best of times!

    I caught a catfish and a sunfish on a spoon yesterday if you can believe it! Not in Washington though.

      I always get random sunfish hitting my gear when I troll micro spinners and spoons for trout in the summer. I’ve had catfish hit lipless cranks and chatter baits when I fish for bass

    I think that the mini spinner will catch more and win. (This is at the beginning of the video) For trout I use dodgers and lake trolls, but only troll hoochies and wedding rigs(favorite lures for trout). One question, when is the Kokanee fishing good?

    • @spiltmilt
      @spiltmilt  3 года назад

      It depends on the lake
