    Thank you for the video! An addition to VEAL CHOP I have learned about is VEAL CHOP MINE, which stands for m=move the patient, I= identify progress, N= no intervention needed, and E= execute actions immediately! Thank you again Meris, love your videos! Especially the quizzes at the end! :D

    I wish there were cards in the deck to show the different FHR patterns. Other than that these are good cards. They save me sooo much time 👍🏼

    This is such a helpful video. I do have two questions. Why should we put mom on LEFT lying position and not RIGHT? Also, why do we stop oxytocin???...

    During induction my daughter's baby ( 40 weeks) heart rate shot up to 250/min when pit started, and had meconium. Emergency CS done. Baby in NICU for continued high HR. Baby cried loudly and breathing good. What is causing baby to keep high rate??

    Hi just curious in active labor would you be concerned about a FHR of 115 or prolonged decelerations?

    • @LevelUpRN
      @LevelUpRN  Год назад +2

      A fetal heart rate of 115 bpm is within normal limits. Prolonged decelerations would absolutely require further investigation and intervention. --Meris

    • @thabangmakgatouncensored2023
      @thabangmakgatouncensored2023 Месяц назад

      Mine was not prolonged but the nurse intervened and said it must not be below the base during contraction.
