8:55 after this the vehicle is checked to ensure it leaks in the usual places.
The greatest vehicle this planet has ever produced.. The bloody things are alive.
Un mythe....une légende.......
Quand vous conduisez un land !!!
C'est une autre planète 😍
Hasn't the old model been permanently discontinued? Is this footage from before? I'm interested in seeing the production line for the British L9A1 grenade launcher. Can you help arrange that?
The new Defender is now made in Slovakia by an Indian company TATA.
Another 'Great British Vehicle'
Nice sharing my friend 👍👍
I have only ever seen bits and pieces of the assembly so it is great to see the whole process. A bit faster than the restoration happening in my garage though
It's an amazing vehicle. Quite labor intensive to construct too.
The old Defender was a stupid, noisy, uncomfortable, inefficient, leaky, rust-prone heap of crap. But… every single time you climbed into it, you felt like you were off in an adventure in your little explorer truck. I loved it to bits and owned 2. I’ve no interest in the new one at all.
The manual frame rotissarie is amazingly simple and old school. I did not expect to see that.
Fantastic. But tell us,where is this fantastic car still in production???? Thousands of people whants to by it!!
That is why Jim Ratcliffe is making the Grenadier he offered Land Rover to keep it going.
El número 1 en el Mundo.
I have a Defender 90 which I work on myself. I noticed its construction appears to be uniquely labor intensive. For example, the bodywork is screwed and bolted around a core bulkhead piece. Nowadays, mass produced modern car bodies including Defender-style vehicles such as Jeep Wranglers are welded by robots as one assembly with only parts such as fenders and doors bolted on.
чистенький цех ,молодцы
Cool 👌👍
They spent way more money on R&D upgrading the factory than the car, so that they could manufacture a 1983 design with 21st century technology 👏👏👏
Good work
I wanted to buy one until I researched the maintenance nightmare they are, especially in the US. My Jaguar XJS convertible was bad enough!
The sale must have dropped heavily since they don’t make it any more !As a safari vehicle it has lost to Toyota ! It ought to continue like the G - Wagen does !It is a classic vehicle which has been around for more decades !
Henry Ford would recognize this immediately. 😢
INEOS Grenadier has entered the chat 🥴
Landcruiser 70 series entered the chat....
we still here
At least they can be recycled into beer cans
Do you ship to us
The greatest mistake that TATA motors ever made was discontinuing the original defender. When they made this decision they gave away the world biggest market for 4x4 vehicles: The Military. They gave it to Mercedes Benz and the G Wagon. One of the stupidest mistakes I think I’ve ever witnessed by an auto maker.
It's not a TOYOTA 😮
นึกว่าเลิกผลิตไปแล้ว Defender
Me interesa
Imagine just how tedious it would be to work at any car manufacturing plant??? Same job ad nauseam. Nothing glamorous here. Friends' father worked there for many years. Was made redundant, like many others.
High strength steel on the chassis 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😪
