Woohoo!! Everyone here is talking about grass... how long you letting the hair grow? Are we talking 80's hair metal? I haven't noticed too much winter kill in my backyard, yet. Luckily full sun all day helps it out a bit, but we'll see what happens as it continues to grow.
My lawn is waking up down here in Georgia. Exciting times. I need to get a plugger. Thanks for the update! Do what you want with the plugging. I've heard negative things about mixing different strains of bermuda, but that could mean nothing.
Having these issues in middle TN. That cold snap we got around Christmas with below zero temps for days really did a number. Then we had the early warm spring followed by a freeze... its been a roller coaster so far
I planted 10,000 sqft of seeded common last year and lost it all. My 419 held up like a champ as well as the Zenith zoysia. I’d do the Tiff in the front. I’m located in middle TN.
All the work to seed 10k sqft and then lose all of it over winter had to be devastating. Glad that your 419 and zenith are doing well. Here is to warmer weather for us and a great season!
So the TifGrand did fine with the cold? No winter kill? Would Tahoma 31 handle that cold better? Is there anything that would stay green in this crazy weather? Maybe TTTF? Or even seashore Paspalum? Sorry, I don't have XP to answer, just to ask lol.

Yes. Like late 70’s to 80’s rock star shag. It’s going to be glorious!
That TifGrand was the most beautiful grass I’ve ever seen. Definitely use that if you can.
Move the tifgrand. Make it more confused than a Kentucky family reunion 🤣

That is exactly what got me. My dead area is also the first spot to get afternoon shade.

Yep! Tifgrand up front...

I say put the grrr back in TifGrand!
I'm here for the feet pics!
I know you are 😂
Move the Tifgrand!
So the Arden 15 died in the freeze but the tifgrand survived? Both were well established prior to the freeze?
It’s Yukon up front that died. That area also gets the least amount of sun
Dude, that front lawn is so compacted. Do an aerate and open up that soil.

Iron cutter can handle the cold. Have a friend that has been growing it in Ohio on sports fields
@@ReelLowDad that would be nice. Is there any info and images of this stuff online? I will Google this now lol.
Glypho - Verticut - plug every 30cm. Watch the GAMES BEGIN
Get the iron cutter from your friend in Ohio or Tahoma31!
Getting rid of the bluemuda eh? Is it time to join the dark side and try fesmuda? 😂
Looks like Snow Mold 😂
