Actually why prussia in hetalia still exist in the hetalia universe is that they aperntly share Germany that's why it the comics Germany and prussia they call each other north and west because they are brothers (and somtimes ancient Rome just shows up so its normal )

I remember my friends would always make me roleplay as Italy when I was a kid because I'm half Italian. Those roleplays are something I am perfectly fine repressing lmao
I never had the (dis)pleasure of watching hetalia in high-school. But the one fact I remember about it is that South Korea is in like the first bit of the manga and was supposed to be in the anime but Koreans made a petition to cancel the series due to mis-characterization so he doesn't appear in the anime outside of I think the ending sequence. I sometimes wonder what the world would be like if they'd actually managed to get the whole series canceled.
